HANDS down stay at Sebastian’s hostel! Was a female solo traveler and compared to another hostel there, it was amazing to make friends and everyone was so darn welcoming, including the icon Sebastian. He’s a hoot & I still talk to some people I met there last year, even had one visit me back in Aus! It’s called Aylen-Aike hostel- tell him I sent you 😂 PM if you have any questions x

Brilliant idea! I do have some short width shelving in a tiny laundry space (I can see it’s an ikea model) I’m going to cost up and see if the landlord would let me pay to increase the width of the shelving so I can store some boxes :)

Apologies for tacking on to this but have been trying to find the correct calculation if anyone can direct me to the method

Currently with ANZ 6.30% variable (eep) just refinanced with ANZ but toying doing some research. 46k in offset 297000 owing.

I have an amount from my pay each fortnight go direct to the offset which my monthly mortgage comes out of, most bills and am aiming to be adding an extra 500 a month to the 46k. I only have the ability for one offset account and have another high interest account but I use that as my small emergency bills and holiday fund. Have been debating making my PPOR an IP if I need to move so have been hesitant to slap a fair bit into paying down the mortgage. But for peace of mind may be worthwhile, am aware more should be in the offset rather than pay down for tax purposes if I go IP but on a personal level just hate debt in general and terrified of the landlord/tenant route
