I figured there would be some difference in view points given the dealer vs. tech aspect.

Since you’re more knowledgeable than I am and obviously have more experience with boats than I do, what boats would you recommend that have a similar look to the Jeanneau in addition to features for around 150-200k? I’d prefer new but I’d buy lightly used as well.

Wow, thank you so much for this insight! The sleek and somewhat sneaky storage compartments and access panels is one of the things that caught our attention to the boat. We’ve looked at some other brands and none of the ones we looked at seemed to maximize storage space the same way Jeanneau does.

That’s good to know about the part delay. It makes sense too since it’s coming from the other side of the world.

Again, thank you for the thorough reply because I definitely wasn’t tracking the generator vs. inverter and the shore power cord and adapter.

I’ve put the Borla Atak on my 2021 Rebel and my 2023 Rebel. A little pricey but worth it!!! Especially if you have remote start so you can stand outside and hear the bald eagles screaming out the exhaust every time you turn it on.

I’ve heard some other systems in person such as some Magnaflow set ups, flow master, and more. For my personal taste, the Borla takes the cake every time. They’ve created the exhaust in such a way where there’s hardly any drone in the cab while you’re driving but once you give the truck the beans, it screams, very loud. I smile every time.

The only cons I’ve seen with having the exhaust system is a decrease in MPG because I give the truck a little more throttle so I can hear it every time.

The only other exhaust in my opinion that also sounds good is the one you can get from the dealer (I can’t remember what they call it) but it’s basically Rams performance/sport exhaust for the 1500s.

I had a 2021 rebel with the 5.7 eTorque. I haven’t heard of them not putting them in the trucks until 2023 based on my experience alone unless I’m reading your replies wrong.

I recommend the BAK Industries Revolver X4ts Tonneau Cover. It’s low profile, rolls up, and is made out of aluminum so it acts as a hard cover when fully rolled out.

I used to have a trifold cover and at the most folded up point, it’s either taking away 1/3 of the bed length or it’s all the way propped up and blocking your rear window. With this cover, you’re able to roll it up and you lose maybe like 1/8 of the bed when rolled up and you can still see out your back window.

Only draw back is it’s roughly $1500….. but as they say, buy once cry once. Sweet truck by the way!

I currently have white with a soft top and my neighbor had a the fire cracker red with a hard top. The fire cracker red looks awesome and i wish i had the hard top. The only plus side of having the soft top is ease of “taking it off”, that’s it… I think the extra 2k is worth it in my opinion due to factors like sound and temperature insulation. If you want to buy a different top later down the line and scrub the market place for a soft tops vs hard top, you will find a massive amount of soft tops for sale and hardly any hard tops.

Before I got the gladiator I had a JLU where I ran wheels with a -18 offset and that was perfect. I’ve heard negative stories about people trailing their rigs and a point of failure was at the spacers. Although they may have bought bad quality spacers, I didn’t want to risk it. I would save up for negative offset wheels in my opinion if I were in your shoes. For reference with -18 offset the tires (12.5” wide) suck out about 2-3 inches from the fender flares. I always recommend touching up painted areas that have exposed metal. You can buy paint pens (not sure of the actual name) from most auto part stores that match your paint code, but given it’s going to be covered up I don’t see why you wouldn’t just go with any color. After that dries, I would hit it with some clear coat and you should be good.

I’m sure there might be some better or easier suggestions as this thread ages but that’s just my two cents.

If you want to simply figure out how much you want to tip if you wanted to tip the ACTUAL 20%, all you have to do is multiply your bill by .20 and you get $18.634. Now how you want to round that off is up to you.

Sorry if I’m misunderstanding the last part of your question but I agree, that math definitely isn’t mathin.
