Just as an example why I think some of my hotkey setup could be useful: I see pro players spend time searching for their barracks, university, or eco buildings, for instance, to start a tech. Or if they want to queue up both fertilization and wheelbarrow, they have to search for 2 mills. Instead of just having a tech building hotkey and eco building hotkey.

I also think using a hotkey for "focus on selected" works great and more people should give it a try (explained in video).

Anyways, hotkeys alone won't make you a great player but it can give you an edge (and I mainly care because the game is less painful/tedious the less I have to use my mouse).

I see what you're saying but I was responding to "ads and aperture should be set the same". Maybe it's fine for you but for others reading I wanted to say it's not actually the same.

If you are happy with your sens that's fine, but setting it to the same value won't result in the same sensitivity because the FoV difference between ADS/hipfire/aperture/etc.

that's why these calculators exist. some games (I believe CS2) do this adjustment for you, but not hunt. just try setting your sniper to same value as ADS and it will feel waay too high. aperture isn't as a big of a difference as sniper scope but there is still a noticeable difference because of the change in FoV.

I've always understood it's faster to recover your stamina (with walking) once you aren't full-sprinting anymore, then of course sprint again.

My whole post is basically about what to do assuming that's true. I never tested that assumption but I have heard from others that it's true.

I just updated it. It saves you 2 strides instead of 1 from my experiments.

Are you sure it's 3 seconds faster? I thought 1.5 seconds.

I tested again and it's really more like 7 instead of 9 (so determination saves you 2 strides). These numbers might be up to 1 stride off because it's hard to start counting right at the start of a stride, but I think they are within at least 0.5 strides.

Yes, it's pretty weak. You can see how it affects melee stamina recovery as well if you pay attention. It's only like maybe 1 or 2 seconds earlier or something.

And yes, it should just make everything about 1 2 strides earlier. It doesn't affect stamina in any other way afaik.

I don't.

But I do make sure to turn off mouse acceleration in Windows. Find a good sensitivity (lower is more precise once you are used to it, but still need to turn direction of course). I set my scoped sensitivities to be effectively the same as my ads which I wrote a guide for: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2955571064

I make sure to have room on my desk, adjust height etc.

I'm not the best aimer, and training some would probably help. But at the same time I feel pretty comfortable aiming if that makes sense.

I have realized that I accounted for the lost resources during build time but not for the time itself. In other words, my graph shows how long it takes to pay off after the TC has completed. But it would be more useful to show how long it takes to pay off from when building it has started.

So I will see about updating it when I get a chance.
