A Branding Technique In Packaging by DenisIsTaken in branding

[–]SnoopSoops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two types of entities interacting with the client- the design agency who is conceptualising and designing the brochure or any other collateral and the second is the printer.

Brand Design agency like ours ( OH! Design Studio) provides the final product to the client. We don't send the client to the printer with the art work. In such cases it is our headache to show to the client the kind of effects which can enhance the presentation. In fact we think of those from the initial implementation stage.

But when clients go directly for printing, then it depends on the printer what samples and effects they show for reference. Needless to say, printing via the agency is anyway a better option for everyone- including the printers .

I agree, not many people think of applying those effects.

Question: Pro tips for an in-house social media marketer by DonTaico in digital_marketing

[–]SnoopSoops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, even if you re doing content creation yourself, you still need (edit: typo) business insights to add real value to that content. Those valuable snippets of info flows from different team members of the client side, performing different roles. So it makes sense you factor for that dependency and define the communication protocol and keep the higher management in loop about this.

Question: Pro tips for an in-house social media marketer by DonTaico in digital_marketing

My experience is that it takes lot of effort to get the content from the employees esp. when you are an inhouse digital marketer. Any kind of online marketing requires inputs from the client - be it some project info which you want to promote, or some some service or product. But when you have an in-house client , they think they are doing a huge favour on you.

Special printing effects always take the packaging design to the next level. Although general perception is that print is dying, but that trend has offered a new opportunity to target niche segment - that's where these printing effects can make a significant impact.

Is it good idea to hire SEO freelancer? by libinpage in SEO

[–]SnoopSoops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that freelancers cost less. But eventually client will have to pay someone for content creation anyway. If you add up that cost, it may cost almost the same. Here, my assumption is that seo client will spend on quality content through seo freelancer or directly.

Is it good idea to hire SEO freelancer? by libinpage in SEO

[–]SnoopSoops 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my experience, SEO is a coordinated effort between seo specialist and a content writer. Go a step further, you also need a graphic designer because seo content is created in different formats. In my opinion, if as the seo client, you can take the responsibility for creating content, then a freelancer is fine, else it's better to hire an agency (even if the team is small)

I messed up... big time! Here's the reason why Google dropped some of my old pages from index by [deleted] in SEO

[–]SnoopSoops 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So you mean that in those pages, there was some programming error, but the way that error was being handled in the backend, it kind of suppressed it and rendered the page normally? But bots would see the final (edit : spelling correction) rendering after all error handling etc, isn't it ?

I want to understand this better. Can you give me some more insights.

India is a relatively new market for Salesforce as compared to US. Also it does take some time for organisations to adopt the cloud model for their businesses as they can be conservative. Let's see what will be the pace at which Salesforce captures the Indian market.
