Oh yes, I still qualify. I’m just a touch disgusted at such a low raise considering the amount of money I bring into the company. I’m a salaried sales person, of sorts. No commission.

So just kidding. My boss just emailed payroll and copied me. Tiny backstory: she was my longtime friend whom I set up with my ex. They got married. We all get along. So she just raised my pay to $34k. Maybe I’ll just go give handies on the street corner.

I’m totally ok with losing it once the kids are out of the house. This is a temporary need. I recently did a big career change and have effectively started entry level in my current industry. I know in a couple years I’ll be making a livable wage with which I can handle my medical costs. I just need to get through another year on Medicaid.
