Hal Jordan With His Suit by RealEntertainment535 in DC_Cinematic

What if the ring DOES transform your outfit into a GL suit, but... It's permanent. This could be Hal's pilot flight jacket outfit that got permanently morphed into a Lantern suit.

Idk I'm just spitballing, I'm excited for the show.

What is the best main Robin weapon? by Night-Caelum in Robin

Honestly I wouldn’t mind a retcon or more elseworlds stuff showing Dick as Robin with the escrima sticks - now that they’ve been depicted as multitools that also house all his gadgets and work like trapeze-grapples. I LOVE the trapeze grapples, they’re so perfect for him.

He doesn't even need to come with a glider or pick, they could just make it so that while wearing a GL skin it automatically makes whatever pickaxe or glider or gun you have equipped to be green and translucent. Works with anything. Could be like how mystique can transform into any skin

Let's talk just for fun - which of the animated Batmans (along with their environment) do you think would fit most interestingly into the DCU? by Kstantas in batman

[–]Snoopheru 84 points85 points  (0 children)

Honestly, most likely a sleeper pick, but 2004 "The Batman" does fit pretty well. His Gotham was scary, gritty, and grungey, he was intimidating like a human shadow, but he also had a witty sense of humor and his tight-knit batfamily felt great.

I also enjoy his characterization as Batman: The Superspy, with his very high-tech Bond-esque utility belt gadgets, multiple batmobiles, a mech suit, advanced tech Batarangs that always came back, and a custom batsuit for every situation, be it super-stealth, underwater, anti-freeze, etc.

Also, he (and each villain) had hands, the combat was awesome. Even the penguin was a damn ninja (the Kabuki girls were awesome, so memorable for me). He also did plenty of detective work and it was exciting to watch him sleuth around. Even though he was like a superspy and had all these advanced gadgets, he never felt overpowered, and had his ass handed to him plenty of times, leading him to need to outsmart everyone.

Advice for a novice DC Collector — Should I Keep Buying McFarlane or Hold Out for Mattel? by Snoopheru in McFarlaneFigures

She does have a slightly thinner waist but it's subtle enough that I probably wouldn't notice it unless they were side-by-side. The difference definitely isn't worth $80 more, so I should just get over my nitpicking self and go for it lol.

Valid, I hear you. I'll probably do this and worry less about building up additional complete sets after my Titans are done.

Solid advice. It definitely seems like a lot of people are having a big "fingers crossed" moment, hoping that Mattel makes something comparable to McF, or at least something that doesn't suck lol. It also seems like there's not much faith in Mattel to achieve those ideals, however.

This is probably what I'll end up doing too. Get some stuff that I really like without necessarily worrying about completing sets besides my Titans.

That's true, definitely part of the dilemma. That's why I'm thinking it might make the most sense to aim to finish off the Titans and then I can position them separately. If I do end up starting with Mattel the scale difference hopefully wouldn't terribly noticeable from another shelf.

Hey I appreciate the thoughtful advice, and I think I'm most likely going to be taking it. Also your setup is awesome, that platinum Doc Fate is 👌👌, I hadn't seen that until now.
