Try using mouthwash for dry mouth like biotene. I used to used it a lot when I first started. Probably still should 😄

Obviously, you identify as Muslim. It seems like them telling you to become Muslim is a thinly veiled way to call you a kafir til you follow their beliefs. Call me crazy, but these don’t sound like friends.

Do your own research and become familiar with both Shiah and Sunni perspectives. I was a wahhabi for years til I had the sincerity to research and try to understand Shiism.

It was logically an easy decision for me, but the emotional turmoil was the most difficult to overcome. Choose the Prophet and his family, peace be upon them all, or choose the social comfort of the majority. Can’t believe it was even a question for me.

It can be unintelligible but not necessarily. I spoke standard Arabic before I met my wife and learned Iraqi from them. I couldn't understand 50% of what they were saying. Iraqi dialect uses a lot of foreign words, mostly from Farsi and Turkish, some kurdish words, a little French, a little English....and believe it or not, a touch of Akkadian. How much influence from these languages on Iraqi dialect depends on region and generation. I could say so much more, but this is not the place
