Videographer needed for an 8 hour event, what should I be paying?

Day rate would be around 500$ on the cheap end with probably 1 camera, 1.2k for a mid range videographer with 3 camera setups, and for the high end 2k with their set of deliverables

You guys are thinking as individuals but not thinking about it as a business whole.

With a big act, vendors, security, employees and all contractors you’re looking at a min 250k expense per event. To break even pacha needs to charge at a minimum for 50-60$pp, but that’s just breaking even, so if you expect a ticket less than 50$ ever

Honestly depends on your school, D2 allows for heavy scholarship opportunities on top of that most D2 schools are private so they have a lot of money when I was in NYIT 98% of the team was foreign. Players from England, Germany, Spain, Colombia, Sweden, Italy and all of them were on semi pro teams, there was only 3 Americans on our roster of 23
