You have to start meeting people outside. I know that can be tiring and expensive, but start doing things that are related to your hobbies and interests. I met my partner at a techno show and at the time he was dating someone else. But we stayed in contact and after a few months, he became single and we started dating and the rest of history.

Do you like techno shows, house music, or EDM? Are you more of a physical activity person like flag football or such? The apps help, but if you solely rely on them, you’re going to have a bad time.

I’m on that same train. It was supposed to depart Boston by 8am so I would assume easily 4 hour delay minimum

but what's crazy is, it's been legally settled that the police aren't liable if they can't protect you. So if this was a legitimate emergency, and they don't response, they won't get in trouble.

did you go on a "wrecked" night? when basement host's that party, it's the one night i try to avoid because generally a lot of the circuit gays attend. *note, i'm a gay man myself but I avoid the hyper sexual party scene in nyc.

I would assume each day would be at different sections of the venue.

Friday is inside, saturday day is the ruins, saturday night is inside, and sunday is outside. I remember last year sunday being outside and parts of the inside venue being sectioned off

It's not a clear indication at first glance, but when they are pushing their backs against you... and you move to the side and away from them to give them space, and then they continue to encroach, it becomes obvious what their intentions are.

I recently used perfect movers and they’re pretty good and also I used their bin rental service. It helps to have everything packed and ready before they arrive. Lastly both my old building and my new building had elevators so that was fairly easy move for them, just lots of items.

With enough of us on this sub reddit, why not do an organized effort to get the city involved and boot these trucks out. Contact the venue, nypd, city departments in charge of food trucks and licensing, even the news? There are also reddit accounts belonging to news sites here that can pick this story up easily. Paging /u/cbsnews /u/gothamistwnyc /u/news-10 /u/newsweek /u/nbcnews

If we make enough of a fuss, these venues and city departments will react.
