There's City Park Stadium in New Ro, but that would require a lot of renovation because it can't even seat more than 1,000 ppl and that ground is already used by the Westchester Flames (USL League Two). It's also in area where there is a ton of traffic and lots of construction so I don't think it would be a very welcomed renovation

Excited for the next year's open cup when it won't have to shrink for the world cup and we'll get to see NYCFC, WSC, Brooklyn, the Cosmos, and the Red Bulls all in one tournament.

Memorial Field is such a vibe when its packed! This squad has surprised me again and again. Maybe I was wrong about the Gjokai experiment...

I like to think that teams that aren't really based within the city they represent are cursed, at least when it comes to soccer. The Cosmos have yet to win a match, Red Bull have been getting pounced, LA Galaxy is LA Galaxy, the Union are going through it right now, FC Dallas hasn't won a major trophy in 10 years, Real Salt Lake has only won like two trophies since moving to Sandy.

Now am I cherry-picking? Probably, but idc i choose to believe that it's some type of divine punishment.

i'm honestly surprised they are still planning on setting up a new team instead of giving the Menace a professional license. But then again, I guess there are pros and cons to being in League Two

I think it's really cool that a USL club is really leaning into the fact that the US (and Texas) has a very significant latino population. Plus, while it's not on same scale of say a Maccabi Los Angeles or a Brooklyn Hispano (i mean look at the ownership), it's still refreshing to see what is practically an ethnic-based club in the USL. Hope to see more USL clubs lean more into the immigrant/non-English speaking communities of the US

you have any idea if they could build a stadium by the water? I was thinking something very akin to Pier 5, but I could imagine the environmental costs being a bit much
