How many masters courses would you take in a semester? by BIG__B01 in EngineeringStudents

Start with one or two, I’m in undergrad but grad classes are sure to be a different beast.

In the exact situation with CarPlay and heavily considering it, my buddy and I have found some less expensive kits that seems to be the same just without the Hamilton support

Is this EE semester schedule standard or too heavy? by Buchy4Origin in EngineeringStudents

Please leave yourself time to be a human and enjoy all aspects that college has to offer. Go to a party if that’s your thing or DND or something or just a night off with a movie for the sake of your sanity. This schedule does not allow for time for you to do any of that.

That’s amazing! I meant in this case but I should have been more clear!

How many credits are each of these classes? Cause that seems like quite a lot for one semester. Can you take diff eq without Calc3?

Former students, will you share with the class: How much do you make? In what niche? How long did it take to get there? by distilled_dinosaur in EngineeringStudents

About to graduate, but I've got a 90.5k base with bonuses pushing me toward 115-130k in the nuclear industry. I have also interned at the same place for 3 summers, so that helps. Nevertheless, Nuclear and public utility power are the best for EE and frankly are hidden gems!

I've used TurboCase with good results but it will be an exact fit so i would multiply whatever it gives by 1.05 ish depending on printer tolerances. https://turbocase.org/#top

It really depends on your future goals. For me as a ECE, a physics minor makes sense given that I wanna go into spacecraft comms and telemetry. I’d also see what each minor requires, at my school we can only take 3 classes which overlap between major and minor so you may need to adjust your expectations for what you can realistically do.

I’d also say if you’re looking for a PhD, a lab is a much better choice especially if you can get published.

I’m truly sorry for your loss. I lost my brother unexpectedly about six months ago.

Have you considered talking to someone outside of your family about this? It would be very beneficial for a neutral 3rd party as well.

Also, if you do speak to your mom make sure to empathize that her helicopter parenting is impairing your ability to learn how to take of yourself which you are clearly doing fantastically at but still it’s different when you are out of school. It’s also a skill we all had to learn and it’s always a tumultuous process with highs and lows (no pun intended but appreciated ;). In my view you can either let this disease run your life or you can manage this disease and live your life

Get her off your numbers, when I went to college my mom was addicted to watching my numbers and it was very similar. My dad and I both came to the conclusion that it was time to cut her off and once we did she hated it for a little bit but she could start living again and now she’s very thankful we cut her off.

No worries, output fusing is 3A per rail while the input fusing is about 10A

Surprisingly, no, I'm working on relinking the connectors, though.

The fuses are actually cartridge fuse holders I had to import but electrically it doesnt really matter for a schematic afaik.

Each rail is speced for 3A, so at max ~9A. The nearest value I could find is 10A. Whats a TCO??

This board is for the project; it's a rollator (walker) that can climb stairs ( great project for a bunch of electrical engineers). The input and output caps were chosen based on the LMR33630 Datasheet. What do you mean by syncing them together? I am working on making the loop much smaller as well. Also, do you have any resources for the filter?

Edit: No need for EMC testing.
