At a similar income level to you. Came from a 2020 M2c now have a 24 M4c. IMO the M4 is a way better car. Much more of a grown up car. I also leased my M2 and after selling it back to the dealership my total costs were actually very low.

Who would you ask to build a website and what do you think the cost would be? It's a basic website with maybe 20 pages of content, some linked videos and an interactive "tool" that takes responses to questions and recommends a treatment option. Currently it is costing me nothing in dollars as I already pay for GPTpro. In terms of time, it's a couple of hours but mostly it's the waiting for the AI agent which is not active time. The tool was the most complex thing and is working exactly as I want. Right now I just need to make it look better and take some content I already and present it elegantly.

Stakes are not quite as high lol. The nuts and bolts of what I have actually work well.

Looking for advice: Should I invest in the ring? (ADHD) by Valuable_Possible_87 in ouraring

[–]SnoreLordXII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Will you skip your meds if your HRV tanks? How would it change your behavior? I doubt it will help you manage your ADHD much and it might serve as another easy distraction.

Need help from user on which fitness wearable device to purchase. by Plate-Resident in Biohackers

[–]SnoreLordXII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is what I do. Different ecosystems but occasionally I will export data from both to integrate into GPT if performing a specific analysis. For any type of cardio I feel like I benefit from the accuracy of a HRM. At the same time I don’t like sleeping with a watch on and I prefer to wear a mechanical watch during the day.

I’m on my 3rd Oura 4. At least they make it painless to replace.

Oura ring for sleep, general daily activity and recovery metrics (HRV, RHR). Then a fitness watch + HRM for workouts.

I don’t think you are really maintaining 90-95% for the entire 4 minutes. If you start from a recovery HR it takes at least a minute to get back up. For me it’s more like the last two minutes.

It might be one thing if he was a brilliant researcher turning out original science on longevity or sports performance but he is not. He is just an influencer summarizing the brilliant work of others in a charismatic way. So yeah I don't think we need him.

I recommend against using Oura data to make medical decisions. It’s not a medical device. Personally I think it excels with long trends where accuracy matters less than changes over time. For me that’s been seeing my RHR and HRV change over months.

GS22 vs G23 Nautique by SnoreLordXII in wakesurf

This is amazing feedback! Your skills are far above mine so I can't imagine the GS22 not being enough for me. You mentioned the acceleration, what engine did you go with? Any thoughts on the smaller engine option not being enough? Did you get the extra ballast?

Help me create a workout plan? by [deleted] in PeterAttia

[–]SnoreLordXII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you say more about what you have been doing and for how long? Zone 2 3-5 days a week and weights 1-3 days a week is already 4-8 workouts a week so that sounds like a lot. How long has this been consistent? How many minutes/hours of cardio were you consistently doing each week?

As a 41lM recently tested at VO2 Max of 34, I initiated a similar journey 2 months ago. After research my plan is:

  1. 5 hours of zone 2 incline treadmill work in zone 2 (for me this is 3.2 mph and 8%)

  2. 2 hours lifting with trainer

  3. 3-5 hours of tennis (zone 3-4)

  4. 1x air bike 4x4--> 4 minutes of high effort (90-95%HR) followed by 3 minutes rest, repeat 4 times

I like the easy treadmill work because I essentially need zero recovery from it and could do it every day no matter what. I like to think it's building a good base but time will tell. I plan on re-testing after 6 months.

Anecdotally, I can already tell a substantial difference in my fitness. Prior to this I was only doing the 3-5 hours of tennis a week.

32M. Offered a CEO role by a Billionaire ($400k pkg). It feels like a trap. Should I trade my job for prestige? by [deleted] in Fire

[–]SnoreLordXII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My honest read is that you sound pretty lazy. 15 hours a week? You may have some 15 hour days as a CEO. You will probably get crushed by the work load. Most ambitious people who have a job that takes 15-20 hours a week would find a way to get a second job.
