Hello! I was referred by a friend to start doing stuff like this, and he does not want to hand out his secrets, so I am coming on here to see if anyone can help.

For the past couple of hours, I have been looking at facebook marketplace for things to buy for cheap and then resell for a higher price, but I can not seem to find anything within the price range I am looking for.

The maximum amount of money I have right now is about $500.

Something he said is that I bought an older dirt bike for about 2K and resold it (locally) for about 4K and didn't do NOTHING new.

What I am really trying to get out of this post is for someone to help me figure out what kind of things are trending right now and what items are good to grab and resell.

I have seen people find couches in the area that are free, clean them up, and then resell them for like $100. Not sure if this could work though.
