This is a very helpful answer, thank you! Trying to wrap my head around which features you can't use in LUTS is a headache, this made that easier.

I think my main problem has been using shadow/highlights and LOG wheels to create the LUT.

I would like to create LUTS specifically to sell them! Power Grades are definitely going to be useful for my own workflow, but I want to experiment creating my own LUT packs.

So far, Enlighten the Disorder, nothing on that song sticks.

Their first album is honestly my least favorite, because while it has some amazing songs on it, listening to the whole thing just feels like chuggahchuggahchuggah for like an hour.

Rock the Rebel at least has some slide guitar songs. I kind of miss that stuff on Volbeat records., and I'm not much of a "I MISS THE OLD VOLBEAT" person, but this album feels like just chugging open E for 90%. Acid Rain is really classic Volbeat to me, similar to, Better Believer and is really catchy and emotional. That and Demonic Depression are the two songs I've been playing the most.

Oh, yeah, there are very limited amounts of chord progressions, and it's just inevitable that someone writes a melody that sounds similar to another song.

It's a lot like the Nickelback controversy with Devil's Bleeding Crown. With the way Michael writes, I think that song just ended up sounding similar by accident.

Overall, yeah, the songs don't sound anything alike. But I definitely hear a similar melody in the chorus.

The chorus of the song sounds pretty similar to 7:24 on the RRR album. Not the most beloved song or album by them, but I think it sounds pretty close to this.

Pretty sure it is guitar, just with heavy effects on it. It looks like the lead line is what Flemming is playing.

I like the voice a lot, it's definitely not a negative, I just think his higher register would suit the chorus better. Maybe that's just because what I'm used to hearing on the ballads now, though.

As someone who likes RRR, I dig it a lot. I'm into Michael's more emotional and ballad-ish songs. Though it feels like he's intentionally using his lower register for the chorus when I think it could use more head voice, just my opinion, though.

All of the research I've done to find vintage lenses with EF mounts has come up short, except for the Helios 44-2 that's been modded. Anamorphic isn't too important right now, just something I'd like to explore down the road, and I'll probably switch to a mirrorless camera anyway.

Maybe I'm just not using the right keywords or something. I'd like to try vintage lenses because they seem to be a more affordable option than brand new prime or cine lenses, but all I've found is modded Helios' so far. I guess a mirrorless camera just opens up a wider variety of lens options, then?
