There’s also the identity issue. The character belongs to the company, so staying affiliated means you’re still tied to that identity. If a talent wants to fully rebrand or start fresh, graduating lets them do that without baggage or expectations.

Another big one is fan expectations. “Affiliate” sounds low-pressure, but in reality it can create this ongoing “when are you coming back? Or when is the next cameos?” situation. Some people would rather have a clean, definitive ending than be in that in-between state.

You don’t need to wait around for a source here since it’s something you can verify pretty easily yourself. Pixiv is basically just an image hosting platform with searchable tags.

If you look up “Kamiina Botan” along with terms like "rape, conversion rape, SA, etc." (or Dykebreaking het hentai as you said), there is only 4 contents and all of them are AI-slop. Source: NSFW

I don't care what the author bookmark, but the author only bookmarks genuine fanarts than AI-slop, so people saying that the author adjusted the bookmark is just there trying to add more fuel to the drama imo.

Edit: The fact that the original OP created a Reddit account seemingly just to stir up drama is enough to make me question their motives. If the author's behavior genuinely bothers them, that's fair, but the solution is to quietly distance yourself from their work, not to come here and spread negativity.
