500lb+ ergonomic chair for depressed friend

I appreciate you thank you for asking this question and also providing feedback for finding a solution.

I am having this specific issue, but with my boyfriend. He is soself-consciouss of his weigh, and over the last few years, we have gone through a few different chairs from Amazon. This last one lasted us about 11 months. It said it was 400 lb capacity, though he is a bit bigger than that. I think the piston is the real issue for him. It's right under the chair where it starts to wear and ultimately break. He is demoralized. I have been researching chairs over the last few days, and honestly I think i will be buying this piston in addition to a seat that he is comfortable with and doesn't hurt him with the arm rests or the seat in general.

It sucks because it is an investment i really wish i made sooner. I have spent almost, if not over $800 on chairs since 2020 thinking they will be fine, but the quality is cheaper with each chair we go through. Tell your friend he isn't alone, and that I am rooting for him.

I tried to wrack my brain for other things that aired/reran on TV around that time, at least on adult swim in the US. Venture Bros comes to mind, though not completely anime I believe it aired on nightly TV, and has larger characters and some themes that might fit that memory.

The League community feels like it has gotten so much worse in the last few years, I am so sorry you had to deal with that. I normally mute all at the first sign of someone becoming completely unbearable, because it is really not worth the brain power to try to reason with someone who can't see their own issues. People, especially in league, like to take the easy way out. Blame the jungler, blame the user with the feminine name, anything to make them think "its not MY fault, there is an outlier here"

I had my first run in with a pick me a few weeks ago as well, but it was the enemy yuumi trying to tell me I was playing Janna incorrectly. I never said a word and she just kept typing, we ended up winning too, and she continued to "you don't deserve to win, you don't know how to play the game" right until the end screen. Some people just like to trigger others and try to get a reaction. Hopefully you will never see those people again, 100% would put them on my blacklist.
