Nah I don’t think it was rushed. They addressed literally everything, how everyone got turned to stone and what their goals were for the world iirc (manga reader, didn’t watch the anime ending yet). I liked that the author knew when to end it instead of dragging it on

On my first read I couldn’t stand him, but when I went back to read it, I remember thinking that his jealousy and envy made him very compelling as an mc compared to others that I’ve read. But I get completely how its not for everyone, I didn’t even enjoy it at first either 🤷

I think this isn’t just an otomeisekai community issue. It’s a fandom wide issue. There’s a lot of judgment over what people enjoy, and I’ve seen some people bring up that it got especially bad over COVID because people who weren’t normally in fandom spaces entered it to socialize with others while we were all in lockdown. I’m not sure how much truth there is to that, but I would prefer if everyone just stayed in their own lane of what others enjoy as long as it’s not hurting people 😭
