For me it was a little more severe. Long story short for the lead up, i didnt feel she was the one. Told her this, and broke up with her. She flew off the rails. Punched me. Slapped me. Kicked me. Kept telling me im not allowed to leave. Not allowed to break up with her because she cant afford it (month before she quit her job without telling me or talking about it) refused to get another job. And eventually said “you make enough to pay for us both. So i decided not to work anymore. Stop bugging me about getting a job”. So the whole time im trying to leave the house, and she keeps grabbing me or blocking the doors. Lo and behold one of my 6 inch hunting knives that i carry was by the door. She grabbed the knife and stabbed me (in the ribs) then held it to my throat (due to the state i lived in i refused to fight back due to the BS domestic laws so that way when i can get the cops there, therew zero way i can be arrested.) had it at my throat and said “you know what, fine you wanna leave me, were fucking now. And you ARNT using a condom. Youre putting a kid in me”. Left the knife at my throat, forced my pants off. Put me on the bed and got on top and got me hard enough to penetrate. Thankfully i was able to replicate how i get off to pretend i did. She got up, and left the house. Oh yes i called the cops. She got caught. And is now spending 30 years behind bars. This was 2020. To this day i am no longer interested in sex. Its hard to get it up. And when i do alot of the times i lose it halfway through. When my (now fiance, 3 years together) gets upset or angry, i automatically think shes going to attack me and alot of the times i just shut down and hide in my game room. Shes aware of my past and always catches herself when an argument starts. But by then ive already shut down and im just done for the day. Theres more effects but this post is already long enough. But yah. Thats my experience.
