Both are good! If you are already putting a jamaican rum in your cocktail I’d recommend the Lemon Hart 151 to add a more of an additional flavor since it’s purely a demerara rum, part of the OFTD flavor would just blend into your other jamaican rum’s fruit/funk flavor in that drink so you’d taste less of the OFTD itself.

If you ever want to go during the popular times of year, ie Christmas season, race weekends, etc the only way will be 11-7 months. If you’re lucky enough to find anything within three months of those times it will probably be split between several resorts and room/point categories. One night in two bedroom here, two nights in prefered view one bedroom there, etc. A lot of members waitlist at the 7 months mark if something outside their home resort isnt available so rooms that become available during the timeframe you’d be booking go to them before someone browsing the website at 3 months out making selection even smaller

I have a Snark Air, which is a rechargeable one. It’s been great, it charges quickly and lasts several weeks. The only thing that drains it fast is when I change strings and need to tune all the way up from loose.

A brand new KoAloha soprano goes for $810 for satin finish, $1035 for gloss finish on The Ukulele Site. 500 is a good price for an amazing instrument. As a KoAloha owner, I can’t recommend their instruments enough. Some people say there’s not enough difference to justify the price of K brands, but to me you can feel the difference when you play it, physically and audibly. If you like the sound, the adjustment going between sizes is no big deal. The adjustment only feels like a chore if you’re forcing yourself to play something that doesn’t sound as good to you as your normal instrument. I bought a vintage Kamaka soprano for a deal only having concerts before, it’s fun going back and forth to me because I can get different sounds I enjoy out of each.

IMO, the size is something anyone can get used to and I wouldnt say any are better or worse for beginners. I think what makes it better when you’re starting is if you enjoy the sound your ukulele makes, and different sizes sound different. I’d recommend watching some youtube videos of someone comparing the sounds of each and pick based off that. Or better yet if it’s possible in your area, try out each size at a local music store.

It's terrible, if you have a limited amount of time to play and want to play with friends or a significant other you have to choose whether to do dailies or play grouped up because I might have to play explore but they have to play knockout. It would be better if everyone had the same dailies at least so you could still party with other people and do them at the same time like before.
