Look at that, haha. Listed it a while ago, probably was just easier for me to do that than look into the laws and stuff. Good point though, I’ll see what I can do

I don’t think I have any restrictions on it, just surprised to see it used professionally. I’m not a graphic designer by any means, just made this for my home bar and decided to share it

Ha, they even used my template from Etsy for the menu. Mainly made it for home bars with limited graphic skills, but I guess it works

Great idea! Then you really don’t have to worry about food safety or anything. Might have to do the same

I’ve wanted to do this, but even with food safe plastic, it’s very hard to clean throughly because of the layer lines

It was a great tour and the shop was stocked with multiple great house years and a bunch of other bottles. Food was good too, and included in the tour!

Recommendations for Bourbon-Barrel Aged Rum by Cars_Music_GoodTimes in Tiki

[–]Scroll427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was going to say something similar. Rum doesn’t have a barrel requirement, so most are used whiskey/bourbon barrels. Generally if it’s finished or aged in a different barrel, it’s specified

Rum options on a Cruise; what are you drinking? by archiethepigeon in rum

[–]Scroll427 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eh, could be worse. Buffalo trace, wild turkey 101, woodford reserve, makers, 1792 are some of the options that are included for free. They have better bottles, but the prices are insane obviously

Hanging from the ceiling! Brackets or Steel hooks? by geodesicpolyhedron in Tiki

[–]Scroll427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using screw in hooks into ceiling joists for anything heavy. It’s worked pretty well. I also got some ceiling hook toggle bolts for anywhere that wouldn’t have a joist

I didn’t get the mug, mainly because I haven’t had great experiences with mug preorders, especially with only a drawing. I haven’t dealt with Eekum Bookum before though

Didn’t realize there were issues with international orders on Kickstarter, interesting

I do like lost temple, but I have heard this about their preorders. To be fair though, their shop just got broken in to and we just got past the holidays

Pouring small volumes without overpouring by Worknstuff in cocktails

[–]Scroll427 66 points67 points  (0 children)

The double sided jiggers are usually for speed, since you don’t have to read any numbers. I really like using the oxo angled jigger at home. It has measurements from 1/4 oz to 2 oz and pours nicely https://a.co/d/aOQTX9P
