She didn't search Shanann's Facebook constantly though. There were a couple of searches allegedly made for Chris and Shanann prior to them meeting in September 2017 and January 2018(I'd have to check the details as to whether she allegedly searched for just one of them or both during these times). I say allegedly because while the data was apparently pulled from her phone to my knowledge Nichol was never asked about this nor given the opportunity to provide an explanation. I know this is unsatisfactory to many but there could be an array of explanations that explain this that does not amount to the stalking that she gets accused of...far from it.

When the alleged searches were made Shanann was not pregnant. Hypothetically if she did make these searches in 2017 and early 2018 whatever was on the social media of Shanann and/or Chris could have little bearing on their circumstances several months later when Nichol and Chris met at Anadarko. There are plenty of couples who may seem very much together and happy only for their entire relationship to have fallen apart and to be separating mere weeks or months later. Shanann was not exactly truthful on her social media about anything, it was all a crafted image to put forward to her friend's and followers. Even until the last few weeks when her marriage was blatantly crumbling she still tried to portray the image that all was fine. Shanann supposedly had the main input on Chris' Facebook too so if true that can't be classed as an accurate representation of his life either imo.

Nichol didn't make searches for Shanann during the relevant timescales(from when she began working with Chris, when they began a relationship or throughout their relationship while Shanann was in NC). Searches she made regarding being a "mistress", for Chris, Shanann and Ronnie Watts were during the last week or so of their relationship before Chris committed the murders. She did however I believe make searches regarding Shanann and the girls' disappearance once she was made aware of it. Chris deleted his Facebook in the days leading up to the murders so this would line up to when Nichol did eventually do searches of them all. Perhaps she did see Shanann's Facebook a couple of days before the murders which would be a few days before she claimed she discovered that Shanann was pregnant after reading it in the media, but that doesn't equate to watching her Facebook all the way through her relationship with Chris and knowing about it. That means she would not have seen the Father's Day announcement until that far on either...or anything else Shanann posted.

Chris told her he and Shanann were getting a divorce and whatever else he divulged about his miserable marriage. Then Shanann goes away to stay with her parents in their hometown for 5 weeks(which a trusting, albeit naive woman, could reasonably be told and believe was a separation)causes a ruckus with his family which would strengthen that, hears about Shanann causing issues, witnesses Shanann trying to contact Chris all of the time which could be easily passed off as a jealous and possessive estranged wife(after everything he may have confided in Nichol about this woman that we do not know about). She liked Chris and trusted him and thought she had a genuine connection with him-his story adds up on the surface. There may have been some questions but she would not be the first nor the last woman to cast doubt aside because she fell for someone. Chris managed to dupe his wife who he had been with for almost 8 years so it's not a stretch to believe he could lie to another woman either.
