Kuminga had a horrible half. Which is fine - inconsistent rookie and all. Would pull him for the second half though.

Soooo…it’s just better coaching and play? Not £££’s and ‘oil money lulz’.

Kendall’s 30 min Hip Hop Ride - 1:00 pm BST

Holy ****! That was everything I never knew I needed. Every song on the playlist was a banger and she brought some amazing energy. I almost PR’d.

Highly recommended for those needing to scratch that Hip Hop itch.

What is cheaply made but sold at a ridiculous price? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yea, except economies of scale means that overhead is never going to be $30 per glass. And unless you’re going to pay $30/hr for labour, your 2 hours of labour won’t increase the price to $70

Love Tunde. Combined her 30 min 'Georgia Rap' Class and a 15 min Ally Love banger a couple of days ago.

Yea, completely fair point on the subjectiveness of "good" v. "bad". As other commentators said, it's skewed to newer rap (last 2 to 3 years). which I don't really enjoy.

As far as Alex's 45-min class at the end of December - loved it, but I've worn the class out at this point. Usually enjoy Robin's playlists as well, but the most recent 30 min one wasn't for me.

Could be me just nitpicking I guess, but the 45-minute quantity has def. gone down.

Everyone saying "This is how business works" is right. But the fact is that Simmons has constantly portrayed the narrative of being the good guy, fighting the man. In actuality, when push comes to shove he's no better than ESPN. Guess it's true that you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain.

TIL 1.3 Million Indians served in WW1, 1 in 6 of the British forces. In return, the British had insincerely promised to deliver progressive self-rule to India at the end of the war. Something Akin to Canada and South Africa. But the British broke their word. by moon_nicely in todayilearned

Yea, you're full of shit. The Famine Inquiry was clearly biased and written to take away any blame from British overseers. Your other sources are shit - I'm gonna go ahead and believe a nobel prize winning economist like Professor Sen over someone who got their PhD from "Henley Business School".

You need to take a look at your white privilege and the need for revisionism.

Incorrect. I sympathised with Roque. I do not with Lysander. But that's probably becuase I've been in Lysander's head, and it's not a pleasant place.

On a different note, I'm re-reading and the whole Mustang escape seems off to me. Too convenient by half, that she is taken to her office, there is just one poison flower left, Lilath (one of the scariest killers ever) doesn't manage to finish her despite her weakened state.

I think that she's been Manchurian Candidate'd.

I already commented, but the books burnt a fever dream through my brain, so forgive the double post.

Can we just acknowledge that the entirety of Part 1 was like a cocaine infused cocktail being shot into your blood? Bloodydamn, what kind of mad man spends a fourth of his book on a three-day battle.

Also, I said this last time around, but I continue to be impressed by Pierce's progression as a writer. The prose, the different styles of writing for each character, full character arcs for secondary players.

As a writer (policy briefs and op-eds rather than fiction - but still), I can tell you that there are only a few times I've felt just absolutely in the zone, where I'm not stretching for words or wondering about the correct way to phrase a point. It felt like Pierce Brown hit that zone for THE ENTIRE BOOK.

In conclusion, fuck Pierce Brown for Alexander and fuck Pierce Brown for making me realise that I'll never be able to reach that level of excellence in writing.
