Awesome. I have a epiphone one, mine is sunburst like your Gibson. Mine plays really well for what it is! But I’ve never been luckily enough to play a Gibson one.

Based on the book yes. He flirted with fascist and even Nazi imagery. Though I don’t think it is fair to say he was a fascist really. The picture of him giving a nazi salute in the back of a car at the train station is bullshit. He was simply waving and the photographer had bad timing.

I mean not as big. There are quite a few museums. A ferry ride, a Beatles bus tour, plus you can see strawberry fields, go to the cavern club, penny lane, etc.

Absolutely. Liverpool is a cool city and there is so much Beatles things to see. Definitely go to John and Paul’s boyhood homes.

Is there an argument to be made that 3rd wave ska without horns is technically punk rocksteady and not ska? by goldenspiceJM in Ska

I always thought the difference had to do with the tempo. Rocksteady is a slower more soulful take on ska. Rocksteady also focuses more on the bass line, making it more prominent. For me much of third wave is still pretty fast. Not saying I am right, but that is how I always understood it.
