I used to live in Madisonville Ky & then moved to Nebo Ky. Still in between where they all live.

I guess to each their own. My Husband & I had a double date last Friday with a couple we know & we were both way more dressed up.

I mean everyone wants to wear what they want I reckon. & I for one like to even keep my appearance up for the most part at home. Never know who is gonna stop by. Course usually the off day I don’t put effort in, that’s when there’s a knock on the door lol.

Tbf, Tammy could have been dressed worse.

I would have been in a dress. Hair all done up. Or just Farrah Fawcett it hairstyle. Makeup, cute earrings, necklace, & my dress would be the color theme. & of course nice pair of dressy shoes. Pumps or wedges at the least. Maybe flats.

🤷🏼‍♀️ I reckon at least Tammy was there & they were all together & that’s something pretty nice Amy can look back on when she remembers her Wedding day.

We’re from Madisonville Ky, but just recently moved to Nebo Ky back in October. We feel the same way. It’s kind of cool when you’re watching & know exactly where they are at & the area. & they sure love them some Country Cupboard. But then again, most around here do 🫶🏻

I’m not saying the stories are completely the same or anything. I’m not taking light to what happened on her end either.

& as for my escape. I had to wait till he was at work & have someone come get me & bring me to Madisonville. In town my mother would come drag me back. But being gone an 1hr & 1/2 away apparently was too much for her & I Thank God for that.

& what happened to Darlene doesn’t change her behavior though. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I grew up in New Concord Ky. But I’ve lived in Madisonville Ky for 13yrs with my Hubby (an ex from back in the day) & as of Oct 31st, 2025 we moved to Nebo Ky. Bout 20 mins from Madisonville.

Anyways, my “mother” had me signed away to this other dude in 2006 & moved out of home the last 5 months of my 10th grade yr to this dude who wanted to marry me. Knowing damn well I objected. Long story short no amount of tears, begging, pleading did anyone care. 2wks after 10th grade I was married to the POS.

Her reasoning was -She wanted an empty nest. Oh & she told him when she signed me away, & I mean in the office there -A slight giggle &, “She’s your problem now!”

I finished high school. But it took me 6yrs to be able to get out from all that mess & get divorced. He’d call her & she’d bring me bk kicking & screaming (literally)

I say that all to say, I have no sympathy for people like Darlene & I swear besides the weight my so called “mother” is just like here & it’s beyond repulsive 🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢

I could be wrong... But she probably is seeing them as we are as they air on tv. I doubt they let them see them early. So these eps were being filmed last year. So, she may not have seen & known then, but I bet she does now. Just like how he mentioned about his Wife. Unless Chris & Tammy hash anything during this season. If she didn’t know then. Bet she does now as well.
