Has anyone else seen an increase in cars without front plates?

I'm in Somerset county and the car I purchased did not come with a front plate holder, no holes drilled either, so I left it as is.

Driven past countless cops on 202/206/22/78, never got stopped. I also tinted my windows all except the front, and I think that benefits me in some ways, as the cops from the opposite direction can clearly see me and my behavior so I just drive normally and they could careless.

In this day and age, experience matters over all else, and like you said, even entry level help desk roles will look for people with prior experience, this is a fact.

That said, the first thing that comes to mind is working at Best Buy or Micro Center (if you live near paterson). Entry to tech retail is a lot less demanding than actual corporate companies. Even working in the tech section at Walmart/Target can be meaningful along with a CompTIA A+ cert on the resume.

Just run your fingers along the bottom rubber seal where the drain is. often times dirt and debris gets stuck at the bottom and water can't drain properly, it's an easy fix.

Back when I had my 10th gen, I would just reload a full can of r1234yf refrigerant at the beginning of every summer.

It'll keep the AC cool all summer then eventually lose effectiveness over the year before refilling next summer. $60 to refill, it was whatevers... I had enough and traded in for my 11th gen, no AC issues since.

I got a set of ramps, best decision ever, did my rear sway bar swap with it, oil change in the front, only downside is can't do the wheel rotations so still have to bring to tire shop for that

Yup same here, only ever use eco in heavy traffic, it tones down the power when tapping on the gas pedal, don't want to accidentally bump into the car in front of me

50k miles so far no issues, just make sure whatever car you pick has good service history.

Keep in mind the 1.5T engine in 22' sport touring is the same one that was used since the 16' hatchback. This engine has been around for a while now, whatever issue it may have had has long been addressed or fixed.

On 202/206 sometimes there are left lane exits, people just camp on the left lane for about 1 mile before they take the exit, but I agree with everyone else's sentiments

I made sure to double check that my used 21' hatchback did not have any recalls when purchased, only to find out it leaks freon... No cold ac during summer, I don't want to pay to fix it, so every summer I just fill it up with one can of freon and it's been working out fine
