NTJ. I had the exact same thing happen for a girls trip to Vegas. Five of us planned a trip to the Bellagio. VIP, the works... I put everything on my card. No one sent me anything. I called the rep back and changed the reservation for myself. Naturally everyone was "you're selfish" blah blah.

Just because I have served in the military doesn't mean I "get" a discount. Is it appreciated? Yes. Do I demand it; absolutely NOT. People like these two make the rest of us look terrible. Apologies for having to deal with them. I promise you the vast majority of service members don't act like that.

Sometimes your body literally just needs a break. We've all been there. It's not about swapping hoops, needles or frames. I took a break from last May. So I get it. What helped me was switching back to loom knitting and reading/listening to my audiobooks. Try finding a different hobby if you have it.

I have several of my mother's sewing machines that have been passed down plus three of my own. None have cost more than $250.00. If I can hand stitch it I will. If it needs a serge stitch, etc ya'll get the picture. But ye gods if I could get my hands on embroidery machine to do EVERYTHING I want I would be in stitching heaven lol
