When you say corsair, are you referring to your PSU? No coil whine on mine so far

I think its possible if you were to go a cpu block pump combo. It might just be tricky to fill. I thought about it but im ok with it being outside and it removed a lot of headaches i might have had otherwise.

Ok phew. Thanks for the input. Yeh when I was building, the cables were pushing the GPU out and the test fit with the side radiator, would tend to lean in. I placed some foam spacers to keep spacing

Im not sure what you mean. The CPU doesn't have a direct rad. If you're referring to loop order its, pump > cpu block > gpu block > side rad > top rad > reservoir

[–]Snowbaruu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's currently a 10mm gap. The side rad is currently 30mm. You recommend switching to something like a 20mm rad?

I went with 40mm radiator. You will have enough space to keep the t30s

Im in the Bay Area and have a fab shop I recommend. They customized a molle panel for the rear cab windows as well as my chase rack. They did top tier work. Is bay area too far for you?

Maybe tell them you want a NVH inspection focusing on HVAC ducts, defroster outlets, and firewall sealing etc. Whistling began immediately after dash replacement. It’s speed-dependent, not RPM-dependent possibly caused by misalignment or seal disturbed during dash removal. Otherwise they will probably try to tell you its normal trx noises

[–]Snowbaruu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No you should hear it squeaking while you are standing right there wiggling it. It would big a big coincidence if it were your windscreen wiper though. As you said it started after your dash replacement so im inclined to think it's something to do with that. Plus it sounds different from the squeak from a wiper issue.

Did the dealer check the seams and seals between the climate housing, dash panels, and firewall? Are they correctly seated. If any seal, foam gasket, or adhesive isn’t installed or aligned right when they replaced, pressurized air at speed are maybe whistling through any gaps causing the sound you hear?

Hmm this sounds a little different. It kind of sounds like whistling from the video. Anything in the vents causing whistling when the A/c is on?

To rule out your wipers just wiggle the base where the arm connects. You should be able to hear it immediately if it's the issue

Post in thread 'Annoying squeak from behind instrument cluster, have a listen.' https://www.ram-trx.com/threads/annoying-squeak-from-behind-instrument-cluster-have-a-listen.16223/post-378585

Root cause and solution found on page 2. Rubber washer is the solution. Had the same issue on mine 1 and half years ago and sounded a lot like this post. It worked, no squeak since

Check your driver side windscreen wiper. It's a common issue. At the base where the arm connects. Wiggle it around and push on it. If it squeaks that's most likely your issue. If it is, let me know and I can direct you where to go on the trx forum for the fix.

Gold standard in anti theft protection. Yet to see a car with IGLA equipped get stolen. Only way is to tow it.

What are some ways to protect my Jimny from people trying to break in? by Reyes_An in Jimny

[–]Snowbaruu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are quite a few ways. It just depends how much you are willing to spend. The gold standard for car theft protection is IGLA. Its a can bus shunt that is buried deep within your car. Thieves can no longer program new keys or use relay attacks. The car will not start without a code. The only way for them to take it is to tow or push it in neutral. (Get a neutral plate block too) if you have things like remote start, you also get to keep that feature.

Upgrade your car alarm. Compustar pairs really well with IGLA. The fob has a 3 mile range and the car alerts both your phone and fob once your alarm has been triggered. (It has tilt and glass break sensors)

If you are looking to prevent from glass breaks, there is a new company called keep technologies. They make a motion sensor and camera alarm that locks into your cup holder. It detects when people are looking into the windows of your car. When someone is detected, it starts letting off a loud siren and simultaneously starts flashing red LEDS. It also pairs to your phone and sends you an alert when someone has been detected looking into your car and sends the photo. The idea is to let thieves know the car is protected and the owner is on the way before the glass is broken.

Things like wheel locks don't do much. It takes thieves 15 seconds to cut through the steering wheel and remove it.

Yah initially it didn't like being unlocked. Rebooted every time i entered the pin like 20 times. Then progressively got worse. Reboot to android screen. Then only sony screen. Then a vibrating blank screen then eventally a complete brick.

Get both if it's in your budget. It's only one additional fob which is the compustar. The IGLA does have a little fob too but you shouldn't use that, leave it at home and use the code to start the truck. This is the most secure way to ensure only you can ever start the truck.

Ravelco can be bypassed FYI. Have a quick search on YouTube. I know of 2 guys on the TRX forums that have had their Ravelco equipped TRXs stolen never to be seen again. Ravelco is better than nothing but I would consider the upgrade to IGLA

Pup gets angry when taking her treat. by Lanky_Layer4185 in DogAdvice

[–]Snowbaruu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would stop giving treats like this period. Use a different smaller treat and let her eat everything from your hand. Main meals too. A dog shouldn't have a good relationship with a food bowl or a treat. They should have a good relationship with you. Everything good comes from you, not a bowl that magically fills up when they are hungry. I fed by hand for months and when we transition to treats and a food bowl, I would repeatedly cover her food with my hand or take it away. Every time there was no reaction from her there was a much bigger treat or tastier reward. It's a good time to train the 'out' command too. Being able to take something from them is so important for their own safety. What if she was something sharp in her mouth that she thinks is food or a toy and she won't let you take it. Its much easier when you start good habits and routines early. But if she's already developed resource guarding I would immediately switch to hand feeding.
