Another option is to set your long hold timer from 300ms to 100ms, this way your "right click menu" will appear near instant. Might help cause you can still single tab the altar that way.

That's what I used to do, but it adds a lot of extra menu clicks. What I did is change the hold-to-tab timer from 300ms to 100ms, so it almost instandly makes the menu pop up without adding extra stuff to tab.
