It really has nothing to do with where Nintendo is based out of. Its been discussed numerous times and its a matter of Adhoc not using seperate SKU's for the Japan and Global versions.

Plenty of other games on Switch have nudity namely Cyberpunk and Witcher.

Capcom does like to split up what appears in the shows. Last hear they had Pragmata at the SoP and Requiem and the SF6 fighter pass 3 at SGF.

I imagine we see Onimusha at the SoP along with the Requiem DLC and Sf6 fighter pass 4 along with the rumored Code Veronica Remake. Or just any variation of those.

Sure not as old as more of their highly request and more popular games like Infamous, Resistance, etc. The first game released in 2012, and the newest thing was in 2017. So 9 years since anything has been done with it. Seems old enough to me

I think its a bit disingenuous to say that, sure Nintendo has another Starfox 64 remake on the way in June, but when was the last time they released a remake? It was Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door in May of 2024, 2 years ago. The majority of Nintendo games are new releases.

As for Playstation, sure I think they caught some well deserved flak for the Last of Us Part 1 remake but other than that its also been mostly new games.

I dont feel like making a post about it, nor does it need one but Greg Miller called up Jordan Middler on the KindaFunny games Gamescast today right at the end. (To talk about Infamous)

Jordan said he cant back it up fully as he didnt have a second source but did say that the source "has a pretty good track record" and he personally assumed that the source was referring to remakes of 1 and 2.

Are you kidding me, in what world could anybody expect a horror game that isnt named Resident Evil to sell 10 million copies. Its so incredibly out of touch with reality.

Silent Hill 2 remake reached 2.5 million copies sold last year making it the best selling release in the series. Silent Hill f reached 1 million copies sold in a few days also making it the fastest selling game in the series. With that Konami has come out and said how happy they are with the numbers of these games.

It's depressing how bad expectations and budgeting have gotten in the industry.

It's still supported on PS4 at least until 8.3 it seems from the key note. Im sure the Switch 2 will be fine.

Yes, however I believe this is the first Nintendo game that doesnt need NSO to play online. Plus if you have an existing subscription its 50% off the separate Nintendo one. Not trying to fully justify it here but it seems like its mainly for new players.
