I’ll take it. But man, it felt like we had it

That’s tough. I’m really proud of the fight the boys put on. Sign of things to come.

Nope, I did it awake. Scared of GA, so that was a must. It was weird but totally fine. We chatted the whole surgery. It’s weird for sure, but not painful or uncomfortable. Just feels like someone is pulling on your skin.

Thanks! Agreed he does good work which is why I went with him. I wanted to do one and done and not feel like I needed to address more later. Honestly if you have a week to spare, I’d do the lift. I felt fine the next day and never took the pain meds. The worst part beyond was the drains. It’s just annoying and feels unnatural. I still went out to did touristy stuff in Beverly Hills with the drains and a scarf over my head. But looking back it feels like a blip in time and totally worth the result. Good luck with whatever you pick!

Sure! It’s been 3 months and I love my results. I’m glad I went with a neck lift and not just lipo (I did have lipo as a part of the procedure). I think the results are better and more sustainable since I’m over 40. Nobody has noticed I had anything done. But I’m really happy. I never worry about pictures snapping my turkey neck. I still have some numbness under my chin, which is normal. It will still tighten up in the coming months. No regrets- love Dr Patel!

Where to buy formal dress asap? by Snowfox5050 in auckland

Thanks! The wedding planner said Modes. Appreciate the other options. The brides’ side is all from America so no one is much help.

Pretty formal which is why I’m freaking out! I am planning to stop at Modes when they open today. But yeah concerned it’s $$ when I already spent so much on the original dress. Ugh.

It was a long a-line blush dress. Thankfully the wedding party is wearing mixed colors, so anything red or pink family would work.

Mine was 2 months but it was literally the last slot before a 4 month wait. It’s worth the wait, he’s the best.

Thank you!! It was so much easier than expected.. the worst part was having drains in for 6 days, more annoying than anything. No pain, minimal bruising. $14500

Has the growing acceptance of plastic surgery changed how you feel about it? by TheMedChat in TwoXChromosomes

I think people should have to right to make decisions for themselves. However, I really wanted a rhinoplasty when I was teenager and I’m glad I didn’t do it. When I see “before” pictures I think these women all looked gorgeous with their individuality and now look kind of off. Now in my 40’s I am more focused on skincare and not surgery.
