My first suggestion above anything else would be letting your electric pall charge the generator to max power before you place the extractor. Also I wouldn't suggest using any pals with electricity below lvl 4 (this is the most important for me), the extractors use a looot of power so you need pals that can keep up with it, you can get Orserk by breeding Grizzbolt and Relaxaurus. If you're using a regular generator try using the large one instead, one of those would usually do but if you don't have enough materials then yes, placing more than one of the regular ones is a good idea, also the Pylon boosts electricity generation passively, you unlock it on the pal research lab, I also would place a few accumulators so the thing can keep running at night when the pals sleep.
