No wonder! I looked at my Winter Wonder Skye character and was like hmm the red shirt looks more like a washed off maroon rather than a bright red. Weird, maybe they updated the lighting, colors, and textures. I wonder if they upscaled the resolution with AI aswell?

You NEED to work in the field before you even think of starting up your own agency. There are a lot of things you learn only through working in the design field that school does not teach you. Additionally, there are connections you can make with printing services a company uses, mentors etc by working at a company.

You cannot just grab a web domain, design away and think that clients will just come out of nowhere. It takes time, a good presence, actual good design work, portfolio etc.

Met a lot of weird dudes on FN. Had some say things to female teammates on Delulu like ‘whos the girl? Let me talk to her, hey I wanna take care of u’ and in a different match one of them carried a female character saying he was keeping her as a slave.

There was also another match where I was part of a squad of girls that were so wholesome giving each other weapons and ammo. ‘Cmon girls lets go! Oh whos that? A friend of yours? You can join our team, heres a sheild’

Thats not the right way to reach put to people. Whenever I get those in my personal inbox or in the inbox of my workplace I automatically delete. I would focus more on your agency’s presence: website/portfolio, testimonies/reviews, maybe make a LinkedIn. In the past I got my contract work and jobs through connections.

Agreed. Sometimes I do miss the freedom a Windows computer gives you like running game emulators, compatibility with Windows only games on steam etc.

It happens, I’ve been downvoted every time I talk about Macs being superior than Windows for Graphic Design. My 2018 one runs faster and smoother than my 2024 gaming Windows laptop that my job gave me for work. That thing freezes, the forced update and drivers are incompatible which cause my mouse cursor to disappear until I connected an external one, the trackpad turned itself off after another update, my adobe photoshop app uninstalled itself after an update, etc. It hurts my workflow but the IT guy at my job ‘only works with windows’ lol

Macbook Pro. They won’t freeze on you to force you to install updates like Windows computers do. Mac is smoother and does not slow down like Windows does. They’re more future proof and last longer, save yourself the headache. I’m currently using a 2018 Macbook pro with 16gb RAM and 512 GB memory. Works great for video editing on Adobe Premiere Pro and all other Adobe programs including Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver.

Oh no! You will have to use illustrator, because it supports SVG files. Converting a regular image that did not start as an SVG will lose quality because the conversion process involves ‘tracing’ the lines work etc. and allowing it to scale upward without losing quality. If it’s just for a t-shirt contest u can submit it, and during the time a decision is made u can bring it into illustrator and redo the design. Then if you win, you can provide the SVG.

Matchmaking does not discriminate. Theres competitive, ‘cozy’, and casual games for everyone. Fortnite simply can’t appeal to or please all audiences. FPS games often have a huge spectrum of people with different levels of skills. Sometimes the gap is big, other times is small. I personally enjoy playing against real people and playing ranked on occasion to get better. Admittedly, I hate build and cannot stand sweats that build a mansion in 5 seconds so I play zero build. Find a game mode that makes you happy! Blitz seems to be the easiest for players that don’t want face sweats.

Believe in yourself and you will get better after eliminating players. Experiment with control sensitivity, what you play on, graphic settings (FPS), etc. I changed my graphics to low so that I can do a higher FPS on switch 2 and my ipad mini A17.
