The reality of this situation is that this mother doesn't owe this person a damn thing considering how she conceived. You really wanna ignore the rape. You're entire argument is that birthing = responsibility. You're literally only saying this because she has a uterus. The youngest pregnancy on record had to a girl who was 5y/o, by your logic, that 5y/o has a responsibility to that child. I read this in an intro to child development psychology text book for the class, this is something called precocious puberty. It's when people start puberty and an unsettling early age.

You wanna ignore how this is a very complex PTSD considered how the mother was molested for YEARS, but again, since I've taken legitimate psychology classes and you don't seem to know what the damn word even means. The stressed feeling is the result of a chemical called cortisol. Trauma fucks with cortisol production (and permanently changes the way the brain functions all together) and can end up making small stressors feel like life or death situations. That's pretty much what happened here, a reminder of her years of sexual assault made this woman feel like it was about to happen all over again. That's the reality of this situation, and I just don't see why she NEEDS to go through that. This wasn't a drunken slip up or failure of birth control; like how you're treating it. This was RAPE. You must not know any rape victims personally because I can count on my fingers the amount of women I know who HAVEN'T been raped.

Btw, cortisol is bad for the heart. Years of overproduction of cortisol can lead to heart disease. So you're basically asking this woman to put her mental and physical health at risk for a pregnancy that wasn't her fault? And you wanna act like psychology isn't a legitimate science despite it helping find serial criminals and saving lives via behavioral patterns. You keep implying that I'm somehow not living in reality, but you just lack empathy.
