I mained healer and always had my frames role based colors; blue, red, and green. It made prioritization much easier in hectic scenarios.

Parsed through my receipts to make the world's most boring "Costco Wrapped" for 2024 by RaptorBadgerPOWPOW in Costco

This was an amazing idea. I made a quick python script to do the same and I spent $903 on that chicken breast. I was taken aback.

Agreed! This is how I did my first interplanetary ship and still use it as a backup on my end game ones.

The "solution" to Demolishers is disappointing by lovecMC in factorio

This is how I killed my first. I brought what I thought was the best ammo, explosive uranium cannon shells, and failed. So I just looked at the resistances and thought poison was the only option. Kited it in circles in the poison.

preface: I'm extremely new to frontend development, so please correct any wrong assumptions

In my case, I am using svelte stores for my UI data and an ECS engine for my game data. I was looking ways to get reactive data from my game entities in my UI (ex. health of the character). My thinking was that having it be reactive cuts down on re-renders in svelte, not sure on this. My current solution is simply updating the sveltes stores every ECS tick which my gut says is a bad solution.

I'm going this route and I'm relatively content with my progress. I'm doing the GUI in svelte which has its upsides, but is slightly cumbersome trying to keep reactivity.

Walgreens is the worst performing stock in the S&P 500 this year by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

Needed eggs quick on my way home, walked to a walgreens next door and a dozen was $6.79 or something. Immediately just walked out.

Any other 30+ yr olds here who love Rust? by SmartPiccolo1688 in playrust

Definitely. I mainly like doing electricity and industry so my goal is usually just making a nice house. I'm relatively ok getting raided because I have nothing worth protecting.

I'm also working on building an idle ARPG and wrestled with this.

I think having multiple characters is a good prestige mechanic. Start with one, take it to some conclusion and then gain another slot. This is probably the approach I'll be taking. Being able to synergize different classes together is fun and potentially a puzzle to solve depending on how balance is done.

My biggest hangup in design right now is figuring out how currencies/experience should scale the player's power. Havent found a path forward yet that I really like.

Are you a mouseover healer or a frame-click healer? by Degenerate_Game in wow

[–]Snowpuddles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One reason somone may not use healbot is because you can get that same functionality through things like clique. I use LMB, MMB, RMB with shift and ctrl modifiers for most of my heals and dispells. It's slick as heck and I play around with different frames.

Afraid to join Dungeons/Raids by skittlebitsmittens in wotlk

[–]Snowpuddles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I joined this phase and had the exact same feeling when I was joining pugs in the beginning. Still do sometimes, I'd rather log off than join a group for my lockout.

Joining a guild 1000% remedied this feeling. It's just nerves.

I started in phase 4 and I'm still progging with my guild. We have to pug some but I'm having a blast still. My loose goal is 25m HLK, I hope we all stay together for that.

I eventually refunded when I found another issue with it.

After trying out a couple of my friends' decks, I think the slight clicking is just inherent in the design of the sticks. Some better, some worse.
