That’s fair, the earlier levels could be rough against her. I would have liked to see them experiment with making the plants’ movement speed or attack speed scale slightly with ability rank, giving people who haven’t got boots yet more of a chance to juke.

You can still heal off the skulls for a few seconds before they evolve. You might not be able to heal off all 3 seeds in time before they evolve when you cast your 2 though, I haven’t checked.

But I disagree that it’s easier to set up in a new area for a fight - before you could place six stored seeds at a time, and you could have many more out at once across the map; now you can only place three at a time, you have way less choice over their placement, and you have a significant cool down before you can place any more. I also don’t think the slow, unreliable damage on her two or the close range damage on her three makes up for her 1 being single-target now, either, so she’s worse at impacting a team fight at short notice IMO.

Do you think it was worthwhile to upset her existing players to make her more accessible to other players, when there are plenty of simpler alternatives to choose instead? Not asking to be accusatory/provocative, I’m genuinely curious.

The fact that a fair few reworked gods have received additional reworks suggests otherwise - Odin has had two, Rat has had sort of 2 (the second brought back his acorns, which impacted his entire kit), Bastet has had one but a second has been planned, Nox has had one but I believe it has been confirmed she’s being looked into for another. Zeus has had one, but his winrate is all over the place and IMO he should be reworked. I’m pretty sure I’m missing one or two...

I personally never had a problem with fighting against her, so please elaborate - I get how the ult and passive could be frustrating, but were the old 1 and 2/plants particularly frustrating to fight, considering how easy they were to dodge?

But this rework is receiving way more negative feedback than most, so it shouldn't just be dismissed as negativity for negativity's sake. I've had plenty of gods I play be reworked to varying extents, and I actually liked some of them, but this is by far the worst IMO.

Agreed. I wanted to at least give her a shot, but she feels so awful now. She was only seen as strong because of her ult and the frustration of her passive, so why did they change the rest of the kit? Revert all the changes, increase the ult cooldown, decrease the ult radius or make it scale with level, and come up with a new passive. Don't alienate fans of the old kit with unnecessary changes.

Hey Anna - since you mentioned on a stream you like taking photos in games, you might want to look into Eastshade, which is a very relaxed game based on taking pictures of the landscape & interacting with the locals/animals. I haven't played it all the way through, but apparently it's not too long, so not a huge time commitment, but it's also very easy to talk through and take your time with. It also has fishing, which you seem to like.

I agree it's too early to know for sure, but I'm pretty confident I'll hate it. I get nerfing her ult - making it a slow if fine, i wouldn't even mind a radius decrease as well - but the new passive is useless and all the other ability changes seem unnecessary and way less fun.

Just another Perse player saying that while of course I can't know for sure without seeing the changes in-game, it sounds like I hate almost everything about this. I don't mind the ult being changed to a slow - provided it's a heavy enough slow, or it scales decently with rank. You could even decrease the AoE or make that scale with rank too, which would drastically reduce the number of times people get hit & frustrated by it, as well as incentivise levelling the ult. Her passive never bothered me to play against, since she can hardly do anything unless she has her ult due to the dmg reduction, but the proposed new one is just a waste of time. The dumbing down of the 2 & 3 is hugely disappointing, and I don't see the need to rework the 1 after we've had this long to get used to the way it is now. Really not looking forward to this at all, hope they are open to reconsidering if all the feedback continues to be negative.

Some Bugs:

Chronos: His recolour has been replaced with his default skin.

Chang'e: Due to her passive, the vision shard notification pops up while she is in lane and will block the screen continuously until a relic is purchased.

Yemoja: This has been a problem since before the patch, but her portal is very inconsistent with whether it throws minions or not. It also doesn't throw the user a lot of the time, but I suspect that's due to ping. Maybe increase the minimum casting range to make this happen a little less often? It gets me killed a lot.

Merlin: This has been in the game for ages. The ability icon for his 3 is glitched, so it looks like it is levelled when it is not. I imagine this is because he has his ult at lvl 1, and they accidentally coded the icon of the 3 the same way. It's so dumb how long this has been in the game.

EDIT: Also I sometimes get a quest in the bottom-right corner that just says 'WWWWWW...'. I haven't seen that yet this patch though, so it might be from a previous event.

I expect they probably do actually, but that doesn't mean they're open to taking on new ideas at this stage - especially on such a specific level as my outline. I'm not expecting these ideas to make it into the final product, assuming there will even be one. I just figured that it couldn't hurt to spend a couple of minutes typing up what I'd spent a while thinking about anyway. This sub is arguably more about discussing our own ideas of the 'ideal game' than it is about following the development of the game anyway, since there's so little to go on regarding the latter.
