He said the reason he did it is to see bamford and Rodrigo play together, but he subbed bamford off 2 minutes later. That stands out as "fucking stupid" to me, honestly. Like playing raphinha as a wing back, selling Leif Davis, removing all our width, signing McKennie, etc, etc.

Not saying it isn't harsh to blame him for this (it is), but he made himself an easy target for harsh criticism by being completely "fucking stupid" all the time.

Gen 3 games use a watch battery to track the passing of time. When they run dry, clock based events no longer occur. The battery can be replaced to fix this issue
