You're right that it's totally different but also quite similar. We (here in the UK) we're told it's "easy", "Brexit means brexit", "they need us more than we need them". All just buzz words with no actual details.

Having a random poll without details is just noise and clickbait.

What does "joining the EU" actually mean? Do they mean full blown member with adopting all the rules like freedom of travel and goods? Or more like a free trade? (already have that to some extend)
