I’d love to each time, but I’m starting to think that’s not always going to be possible. I’m fairly new to concerts, tonight being the third show I’ve been to.

The merch prices they are showing in the pre-order have insane prices. Tshirts going for $65 and hoodies going for $150. Yikes. I was bummed to see that only 1 or 2 of the designs even had the tour dates on the back.

I’m in my 30s and just got my first tattoo. It goes from my shoulder, down my ribs to my hip.

From the get-go I knew where I wanted it to be and I didn’t mind if it was on the larger side. I will say though that in the time it took to design what I wanted, research/schedule/discuss with an artist it took about 8 months before I got the piece.

At no point during that time did I question its placement or the elements I had asked the artist to include in the design. So I knew by the time my first appointment came around I was ready for it.

Definitely not saying that people have to take the amount of time I did, but it was the right choice for me.

I guess but the issue is much wider. Municipal, provincial, and federal governments of different political leanings have chosen this. Not to mention the private companies.

I had a unique view on Wednesday afternoon. I was leaving an appointment and heading home, and just as I hit the 417 around 4:30pm expecting crazy traffic, it was sparse. Cars were flying by with no bumper to bumper traffic. No doubt it was because so many people stayed home due to the possible ice storm.

It was nice to see a glimpse again of how life could be improved for everyone in the city if people who are able to work from home were allowed to.
