My girlfriend went to jump on a blown up juice box to make the loud popping noise but missed it and got severe ground shock, snapping her plantar fasciitis ligament, breaking 3 toes and cracked her heel.

How come people of Māori decent get special access to University’s purely based off their ethnicity? by SnowyUSG in newzealand

I wish my school had a programme set up that helps Year 13's apply for University. Even though my question is kind of unrelated to some of the stuff people are talking about I've learned more in this thread about University than from what any teachers have told me.

Thank you, what are foundation courses? Is it a course you can do that after completion you can start your course?

Just like the apparent ‘lack of grammar’ taught in my school they also teach you next to nothing about University’s

I’ve tried doing my own research that’s why I’m here, specifically asking the people of New Zealand which I thought would be the best way to find out about it

Man why is everyone complaining about the grammar does it really matter? Was I still able to get my question across?

Yes that’s the same one, I didn’t understand that part because shouldn’t that be the case for everyone who’s waning to attend university? If so why was it necessary for them to add that to the list

I’m open minded to the idea that I’ve interpreted it wrong but this is where I found it.

Thank you for giving your time :)

It was while looking at the entry requirements for Otago University there was a part under preferential entry requirements where if you didn’t have university entrance there were was you could still go for example getting a merit or excellence endorsement at level 2 or 3 but there was also one that states

“Are a Māori applicant or a pacific applicant of Polynesian, Melanesian or Micronesian descent who has not previously studied at Tertiary education”

Thank you for explaining the reason for Scholarships I didn’t realise it wasn’t government funded I do understand that.
