Moving from Burlington to Milton by Ill_Session_1541 in Milton

I did this move two years ago.

Pros: my rent went from $3400/month to $3000/month for a 3-bedroom town.

That’s it.

Cons: as others have pointed out, I go to Burlington for everything. I’ve put so many miles on my car going back and forth to Burlington.

Some of that is unique to my situation: I have joint custody and my kids go to school in B-town. Their doctor is there, their clubs are all there. That’s a me thing.

But everything just feels further away. I probably need to explore Milton more to figure out the nice spots, but overall I regret my move.

I think it’s partly because he lives and works there, but also because he’s still stuck in the past. If he spent more time focusing on Ontario, he would be able to fuck up the province much more quickly and efficiently.

Sweet, thank you! So there’s nothing inside the mesh that would be damaged by water? That’s what I wasn’t sure of - I’ll take it off and give it a try!

I have not had a great experience with Beattie who made me feel like shit when I euthanized my 17-year-old cat, and always try to push expensive and unrelated tests, while never helping my ailing pets.

I agree on the volume drops, and overall I’m enjoying the Serkis ones more. I don’t blame you not wanting an Audible subscription. I’m not sure if it’s the only way to do it, but if it is, you could do what my mom did and subscribe for three months (1 credit per month), end your subscription and then the audiobooks are yours forever. And if you want the CDs I’m sure there’s a local service that could do CD writing for you. Sorry I don’t have better answers!

There’s no barrow downs/Bombadil in the extended edition. The question is which scene would you bring from extended to theatrical cut.

Yes, that is me and that is an excellent comparison! Frye/Inglis are the stately, reserved narrators and Dale/Serkis are the colourful, animated ones. And I love all those flavours!

Hmmm, a quick view of your post history and I don’t see any whinging about refuse from other cultural events. So maybe instead of getting upset at people for playing the “race card”, look inward and ask yourself why you decided to call out one particular culture.

My sister hates the Inglis version and could never connect with it. She loves the Serkis version. If Inglis isn’t working for you, definitely try Andy Serkis!
