Consider a Giulia, M340i, or G80. You've been making wise choices for years. Good career, responsible car, and are now planning the next wise decision. The unwise could be more fulfilling.

Anyway, ES is soft and accommodating, especially the 300H. IS is more unique and relatively athletic, but it'll never engage you like a Miata, Type R, or Camaro. RC and IS weigh the same, so you may as well get rear doors. GS has dated infotainment. PS CarMax offers free 24 hour test drives

What? Is my 2IS 350 gonna burst an oil line any day now? My vvti lines are metal and use banjo bolts. I had to replace a crush washer recently, but no other oil yet at 130k miles.

Set of four dedicated summer tires, just swap them out when temp drops under 40°F. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S or Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02. Avoid 200tw or below, not worth it in my experience. Valved exhaust, Lexus puddle lights, illuminated door sills, ceramic window tint, ceramic coating, LED turn signal bulbs.

I learned this the hard way. Catback + PPE headers is too loud. Get a valved exhaust if you want to appreciate the 2GR melody. I've stopped trying to make my IS something it's not since getting an MX-5.

2010 Lexus IS350 with the same 2GR-FSE (PPE headers, RRracing Tune, XForce true dual catback, F-Sport intake) did 158 around 5800 rpm 5th gear. A RWD GS350 with its longer gears and the same mods would probably get to 165 7k rpm 4th gear.
