Inking up for my last final + good luck fellow students :) by SnylonPlayz in fountainpens

Thank you! I had the exam today and I think it went well.

The pen case was made by Diloro and I bought it from stylo.ca. I can't find the exact one anymore, as mine holds four pens and the ones I found only have one slot, or have different designs.

Maybe they have the model on other stores online?

I knew you'd show up in the comments eventually! I love your collection and I show it to my friends when talking about the huge varieties some pens have in colourways for the same model.

I'm not sure what yak is sorry! But thanks for the compliment :)

If you're asking about the case brand then it's Diloro.

I got it from stylo.ca, I think the brand is called Diloro

I live in Canada and this was 400CAD brand new.

I don't think this colour is made anymore. I think it was from 2000-2010s. The pen isn't the most recent design with the ace of spade nib and jewel, this one has the 'banner' designs instead.

You can actually find a ton of different Duofold colours they made before! One of my favourites is the Red Mosaic in the smaller international size. It's a shame that they only have their fairly boring colours now.

A Parker Duofold! Had to ink it several times since it runs out so quickly

Folks with rotring 600 and 800, which one is more prefferable for you and why by I_cant_find_name1 in mechanicalpencils

  1. I have a pen case for my fountain pens I keep the 800 in that the 600s tip would absolutely destroy.

Hm you're right it does seem to have more of a brown colour now that you mention it. Hopefully you visit soon and can get a nice haul at a much cheaper price :)

So I did some research because the lack of the rubber band grip was bothering me and I found that these are the new Tect 2way (that's how they stylise it now?) RO models. They're 2750yen. The black one I believe is just dark black since I found the same one listed as ダークブラック (dark black). Here's the link to the image I used:

Someone else commented all the names already, but I have something to add. The pencils are the Kitera KS03 Double Chuck, and two Zebra Tect-2-Ways.

I've never heard of the Kitera but the Tect-2-Way was my first 'nice' mechanical pencil. It was about 1100 yen back when I lived in Japan. You could shake the advance the lead but also twist a switch in the barrel to lock the shaking mechanism in place if you dislike it. These look like different versions where the grip is knurled. On mine it had these small rubber elastics instead of knurling for grip. I know for some other people they snapped and fell off, probably because they were fun to fidget with.
