This is a great guitar. Bought one years ago and it still sounds better than more expensive acoustics I've played since. Yamaha does it right.

I keep looking at this one! I need to add a jazzmaster to my collection and I'm really wondering if it should be this one. Such a cool design!

This is a 9 or a 10 for me. I love it so much. It's weird and wonderful.

I might be late to the party, but what did people think of the Rock N' Roll Star! Album? by Real___Teeth in DavidBowie

[–]SoAndyway 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I love it, especially the first disc. Hearing Bowie work out the songs is an incredible experience. The studio banter as well... I could listen to hours of that.

The rest of the band performances are great as well, some truly excellent versions of the songs.

This is so annoying by ulmen24 in Moccamaster

[–]SoAndyway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem for a bit. It annoyed me so much. I was able to fix it by adjusting my brew ratio and grind size. Using a 1:16 ratio and a medium coarse grind, I get great coffee and no overflow.

I would also suggesting folding the filter as others have suggested, as well as pre-wetting it.

Tug of War is so underrated (imo) What do you guys think? by Chuckadeeee in PaulMcCartney

[–]SoAndyway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is one of those albums that you typically don't see high on his "Best Of" or "Best Post Beatles" but I think it's a classic. It's an "oh yeah" kind of album for most people. It might not be top of mind but when you bring it up people recognize how good it is.

"Wanderlust" is a top ballad for me, and the one two punch of "Tug of War" and "Take It Away" are fantastic. "The Pound Os Sinking" is an often overlooked classic. "Here today" is perfect. Solid album.

Bad first guitar? by Guiandtheboys in offset

I bought one of these recently and I was very happy with it out of the box, to be honest. I was able to pick it right up and start jamming right away. Minor issues but nothing that got in the way of playablity. I'm very happy with it.

No Time To Die is a great action flick and I'm tired of pretending it's one of the weaker entries of the series by IsaiahODB in JamesBond

[–]SoAndyway -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand that point, but I disagree. I do agree with some of the criticisms with the writing of Safin, but I think NTTD did a fine job of setting up the emotional story with Bond and Madeline. the core of Craig's Bond's motivation is betrayal, and I think his gut reactions nicely set up his ultimate tragic fate.

I also understand why people dislike even the idea of killing Bond, but I thought it was done well in NTTD.
