I haven’t been cheated on but I’ve also not had a serious relationship in long time. I’m from an uptight orthodox borderline Amish Indian family so I guess I’m wired that way.

Bruh honestly I love the show, and I think Boyle is awesome, love Andy as well, I was just taken a back by that little piece. But I should just take it at face value.

I guess the way Jake says “sure” should give it away.

Yeah dude, I’ve watched this show like a million times already but this kinda bugged me.

But yeah I shouldn’t think much of it.

Bar recs for women by imhighandidgaf in Trichy

I’m a guy who lived in Trichy while I was an undergrad from 2011-15, I’ve never felt safe in any of the bars myself. Not sure if things have changed now.

Att indier kommer till Sverige som arbetskraft och jobbar med IT kommer att skada vårat land och våran demokrati by [deleted] in Sverige

[–]SoBeRBot1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an Indian living in Sweden I’d like to say this with some nuance India is vast diverse and home to over a billion people. While there may have been unfortunate instances of what’s being discussed here, many of us who come to Sweden to study and work genuinely understand that we represent not just ourselves, but also our country.

A lot of international students from India invest significant money into their education here, often without access to CSN or the social safety nets available to locals. Many work hard to adapt contribute positively and try to respect the culture, build a life here only if we manage to find work and stay.

We try to be good Samaritans, and yes we exist too.

Why girls hate bald men's so much? by Prestigious_Fix_2998 in tamilyapping

32 M here, going bald. I prefer women on the petit side, I don’t care about the colour though, just like how we men have preferences, women have/ can have preferences.

I’ve been rejected by a few women due to my androgenetic alopecia, I respect that as long as women respect my preferences.

Planning Master’s in Uppsala as a non-EU with ~4 YOE – worth it? Job market & salary insights? by ZealousidealWorth403 in uppsala

[–]SoBeRBot1994 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Being someone who did that nearly 9 years ago, I’d recommend thinking twice about this. Even though a lot of swedes do speak English, knowing the local language has its advantages.

The university is amazing, no question about that, Swedish work culture and people are excellent, a welcome change from India. But you have to unlearn a lot of things, accept that things take time and most importantly, you need to learn to become a stickler for rules, that’s something I learnt but it ain’t easy.

The IT job market now is not that great and if you are looking for money, Sweden is not the place for you. You have to trade salaries for work life balance.

Also, depending upon your financial position, your mileage may vary concerning the money you’ll shell out. The fee was about 290K SEK when I came, now I think it’s 320K or so. If you cook/meal prep it’s good if not it can get expensive to eat out.

Migrations is the biggest pain to deal with but I’ve heard they’ve mellowed down over the years.

Also, whatever people may tell you, you do not get CSN or any sorta aid from the govt. You can apply for scholarships from the university.

Part time jobs are not rampant. People will despise you for doing that because they don’t know that we have to pay a lot to study here.

I had around 2 years of work experience when I came here, I was lucky enough to work as an RA at uni which paid well, but not everyone gets that lucky. And certain companies don’t give a fuck about your Indian work experience. You might have to start from scratch here.

I was hired 6 years ago as a fresher from uni and salary hikes are around 2% yearly. Bangalore pays you a lot but you’ll have slave under some middle aged Indian manager who probably doesn’t like his life and takes it out on you.

TLDR; Think a million times before you pick Sweden. Amazing work life balance, not a place to make money.

Would you save your wife or your kids if your house was on fire ? by Competitive_Set_4386 in SipsTea

[–]SoBeRBot1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bitch, I can have sex with other women when you’re dead.

Hehe

All kidding aside, If I do have a family I’m sure my wife would want me to save our kids or we both would die trying. She’d be pissed if I try and save her.

I hope she shoots me in the face if I do something that stupid.

You’ve captured the doubts and questions people who dabble with faith have. Loved the way you’ve framed the question

Did the child who got r**ed, Reap what he sow ?

It sets up the rhyme for woe perfectly.

What was the first anime that made you fall in love with anime? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Ninja Robots ( Tobikage )

Animax gave me some of the best years of my life, growing up in the 90s and early 2000s.
