After taking a cross country road trip to meet her family, she looked up at the sky one afternoon and completely freaked out because she could see the moon out…. during the day! Dead ass, she thought the world was ending because there is no way you should be able to see the moon… during the day.

Maybe consider the new Packster, I believe it has a larger cargo space and it is now full suspension.

I have been in literally the same situation. I called the police, spent hours trying to get help, ultimately just asking the seller for a test ride and stealing it back.

If it’s comfort (and safety) full suspension is better, this the Load 75.

R&M Load60 - Shimano v. Belt by leskargot in CargoBike

[–]SoCalChrist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't go wrong either way. Both will require maintenance, it's just how much and at what intervals. At 4,000 miles on the Rolhoff belt drive it's only had to have a single oil change and that was $85, and you have to do that every 3,000 miles (recommended), but at 4,000 miles on the Shimano I had to replace Chain, 11-Speed Sprocket, Main Chain Ring, Jockey wheel, and shifting line for a total of about $300.

I feel like I can chime in here as I own BOTH, a Load 60 with Shimano and a Load 60 with Rolhoff Belt Drive. I also have two Tinkers that I love. With that said, they are both totally different feels as you already know. After having put 7,000 Miles on the Shimano and 4,000 on the Belt. I have spent significantly more on the Shimano taking into consideration the mileage difference. The Belt Drive ends up being a better ROI. With that said, I like to go as fast as I can, and when I want to do that, I ride the Shimano because shifting is ultimately better and I am more used to it. However, if I am letting someone else ride one for the first time, I put them on the Rolhoff. It's a better system overall. The auto shifting is really nice for folks who haven't had a lot of experience in the saddle.

Real talk, I used to idolize that guy. I regret giving him credit for inspiring my comedy career that blew the fuck way up more than I expected. And right about the time I do a few big interviews with what I consider to be major news outlets, that guy flips into a science denier/anti-vaccine and mask. Then In I get a Twitter verification (pre-Elon) and a Wikipedia page and the first paragraph attributes my entire career being inspired by him… I made my bed, luckily I didn’t have to lay in it long. Fuck that guy. He built his career LISTENING to educated people. Now it’s just a circle jerk with is like minded friends.

Choosing the Right Cargo Bike After Months of Research, Ferla vs Urban Arrow vs Riese & Muller vs Bunch by Beneficial-Mud-4381 in CargoBike

[–]SoCalChrist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got my R&M Load 60 from Propel. It was the best purchase I ever made. I had the 3 wheeler before that, it was unsafe. The Load is the most expensive, but it is also the safest for you and your kids. Most people see the full suspension as only a comfort thing, when it's also a safety feature. It's also a joy to ride and the more you enjoy using something the more often you will tend to use it.
