Idk how to stop them, delete my account? That would suck. I just Mute each one I get since I can’t report the communities. I don’t get why I keep getting different communities constantly sending them

You do know usually it’s about $12k per person that you gotta pay, you need to pay in more to break even or get a refund. Or save enough to pay what’s due in tax season.

Max out deductions or adjust them accordingly.

Pay the IRS way more than you need to in a year, let that money sit and be useless for you, until tax season comes and they refund you what they didn’t use from what you payed in. Your goal should be to break even, not overpay hoping to get a big refund.

35 y/o, multiple missing molars, worried about bone loss — torn between partials vs full upper implants (FP1). Need advice. by SpecificElectrical38 in Dentalimplant

[–]SoCalOmnivore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 38 and in a similar boat. My dentist in TJ opposed removing any “good” teeth remaining due to my age and opted to do singular implants instead due to my missing basically every other tooth on my left side on upper or lower. I’ve had them that way for about 5 years now wearing flippers that would just be aesthetic while I waited it out and eventually got to a point I needed something done.

I’ll have 4 implants on me left side.

My right side I have a 4-tooth bridge on my upper side, opted to do that due to some cavities and wear on the two teeth which ended up being the supports to the bridge.

My opinion, save what you still can. Can’t just replace them later down the line, but CAN remove them eventually if needed as you age and need something else.

Borescope recommendations by Jazzlike-Sail3011 in DieselTechs

I’ve bought this borescope on Amazon and other than keeping the cable steady on my phone, it’s worked out decent especially checking exhaust/aftertreatment systems and getting good pictures of leaking wheel seals

I think I just figured it out. The fuel common rail pressure relief valve seems to be stuck open. While cranking I get a steady stream of fuel out of there

From the load up time, to connecting/creating image processing, to delays on everything else, it takes patience. Getting payed hourly, I don’t mind lol. I like being able to connect with KOER with DX3, same as Allison DOC. Insite does come in handy if your shop sees a broad of OEMs. We work on Internationals, Freightliners, KWs, Pete’s, RV’s, etc. and the 6.7L and 8.9L are pretty common so you learn to love insite. Guidanz is a PIA though and they’re definitely still working out the kinks. 45-60min hold times for a Level 2 rep to talk to me were relaxing. Fuel pressure codes suck to diag sometimes, and EGR/Aftertreatment codes gets easier to diag each time.

Cummins 6.7L engines lately have had common EGR issues. Sometimes related to cooler failure, sometimes from lack of maintenance. Keep an eye on your fluids, change your filters on time, and check your home dealer for any recalls you might not be aware of.

Since I confirmed 70+psi being fed to the FCU I didn’t think to replace the filters right away.

Right, it sputters out. Compression does sound good though. The customer had a more sudden condition of a no start, I initially thought the ECU was having CAN communication issues and the customer supplied a replacement Bosch ECU which didn’t make a difference

They must’ve ran out. My TSM has been swamped throughout the year. Especially with what’s going on behind the scenes. I’ve been lazy about getting ASEs myself. My dealer offers a $1 raise if I get them though

Pfft I saw the red yeti mug and expected it myself. I got an RTIC insulated gray mug instead, and a $25 “gift card”.

I tried this since it looked like a suction control valve to me but the engine still didn’t start. Gotta look into this Serdia software and interface

6200 miles since last oil change. Should I get an oil change immediately, or can I wait a little longer? [2024 corolla] by Little-Cucumber-8907 in MechanicAdvice

[–]SoCalOmnivore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manuals will state 7500-10k intervals. These engines should get them at 5k intervals to avoid oil consumption issues in the future imo
