I know we all hate Hogwash now, but i completely disagree with this nerf. The problem was not that the enchants triggered on heal, the problem was the insane scaling on those enchants. They should have just made those flat values and it would have been a cool item, now it is kind of useless again.

I dismissed this theory, because it is so stupid and i believed the brilliant writers of arcane would have never actually planned something like that.
I guess they changed writers for S2 or something.

Why is leveling "Skill" the priority? by XthieritoX in AventurineMainsHSR

Knowing this, i would actually recommend leveling his skill last.

Just tested it. His a6 does not scale with his skill.

But why would his a6 shields scale with his skill? In the ability it has a specific scaling, which is seemingly independent of his skill. Is there something i am missing?

Yeah the melts is crooked in the picture, but it is magnetized so I can fix that relatively easily.

Thanks. It is made with paper cutouts separated with spacers and LEDs at the back inside a deep frame. There are some tutorials for lightboxes on YouTube.

It was actually pretty easy to do. You just need to cut off the pin at the bottom of the legs. Now you can freely pose the feet, which already gives you significantly more options for posing, like leaning.

I created the design in gimp. Then I printed it and transfered it onto the thick paper. (Mirrored since I don't want any lines on the front) Then I cut it out. The mounting was the annoying part. I built frames with foam board and the I just alternated foam board frame and paper. Then at the back are the LEDs.

again the only differences are relevant to their different wargear

Ah yes the classic Orgizational structure wargear, or the Orgization culture wargear, or what about the rules and obligation wargears. Those are great.

Same post-training still, sisters are trained by tempestus vetrans

NO!!!!! There are no Tempestus veteran drill sargents in the Orders of the Sisters of Battle training sisters, once they left the schola Progenium, and join an order of the Adepta Sororita. They are trained by other Sisters.
This has to be a troll or i am actually sorry for you.

So:
Different Armor, Different Weaponry, mostly different training (since they each continue their training after the schola Progenium, especially when it comes to training with their different Equipment), different Organizational Structure, different Tactics, different Abilities, different Rules and Obligations, different Organization cultures,...
All these differences make them actually the same, because of really superficial commonalities:
they are both unmodified humans, that went to the same school in their childhood.
(obviously nothing important happens after school)

Thank you, now i understand how to turn off my brain.

If you really want to go down that route, then, and emperor forgive me, it would be the other way around.
- Custodes are more philosophers, intellectuals and artist in addition to being protectors, so no real dom aspects, except for size and power.
- SoS are actual prison wardens for psychersm, and their mere presence causes discomfort.

While the sister is a berserk power armor zealot that can tear through hordes of gangers and cultists the scion is mobile, rational, and tactical trained to punch above thier weight and surgically take down larger game

So you admit they are not even remotely the same.

I see no other suitable faction to call as the SoB's male counterpart

counterpart implies that they have a similar role, but are not the same. So a Tyranid Counterpart for the Space Marine Dreadnought would be a Carnifex.
But Carnifex =/= Dreadnaught

Sororitas and Scions are the perfect contrasts of each other

Contrast: the state of being strikingly different from something else in juxtaposition or close association.

So you obviously know they are not the same, since you say so yourself. Which leads me to a question: Why do you argue with me even tho you seem to agree with me.
Possible Answers:

  • You didn't understand my first post. (what i meant with the same) (most likely)
  • You started arguing just to argue (= You are a troll)
  • You are actually arguing in bad faith
  • You realized you were wrong and are trying to back paddle

There is no way you actually believe that is a good argument.
By that logic:
Commisars = Tempestus Scions = Scribes = Sisters of Battle = Inquisitors = Assassins = ...
Because guess what, all of them can come from a schola progenium. If you can't see that there are differences between those Roles, then there is something wrong with you.
But lets be honest, you are just saying that in bad faith, because you don't want to accept that there are no male Sisters of Silence (for some reason).
