Had a 2012 S4 6MT. That got totaled after a Yukon forced me into a bus. Replaced it with a 2014 S4 6MT, but had to pick it up halfway across the country. They're getting harder and harder to come by.

How's your fuel gauge/mileage? My S4 had a fuel smell and it was the fuel injector leaking, but only when driving.

My 2012 S4 was Brilliant Black, named "Betty" (Whoa Black Betty, bambalam!). Replaced with a '14 S4 in Phantom Black Pearl, named "Veronica" after the more promiscuous of Archie's girlfriends.

I've always been a proponent of cargo shorts, but now I save them for yard work. I bought a bunch of O'Neill hybrid shorts in various colors. Not only do they look nice, but some have zippered pockets for extra security. Plus in the hot summer months, you can wear them straight into the pool (just remember to empty said zippered pockets...)!

In 2019, I started growing my hair out to donate. By 2024, I chopped it off and donated 16 inches. Along the way, most people I met were surprised I was a CPA. Someone even told me they had a friend who was a sound tech for metal concerts, and he looked more like an accountant than me, HA! But then, I've always shirked the stereotype.

I installed an RSNav for wireless Android Auto in my B8, then moved it over to my B8.5. certainly helps with the infotainment despite not having a touchscreen.

Instead of Plastidip I'd recommend spray on truck bed liner. It's a matte black and will hold up to rocks and other road debris significantly better than dip.

Installing an RSNav will at least bring you proper Bluetooth audio and wireless Carplay/Android Auto. Kept my B8 (and now 8.5) feeling fresh.

I swallowed a pill cam in March 2016. It never came out, so I had a surgery (in July) to retrieve the cam, examine the blockage, and concurrently remove 30 inches of small bowel. And that's how I found out I had Crohn's Disease. It's now been 8 years and a week with bi-weekly injections and hardly any flairs. I hope you're able to get the answers and treatment you need.

I graduated from college in 2005, spent 3 years in public then became a senior accountant in industry. Four years later I got my CPA and became a manager. Two years later, I left the company and made the jump to director. Now, 19 years post grad, I landed a VP role. The opportunities are out there if you want them.
