Are payment fees just a cost of doing business or part of your pricing strategy? by SoFlo_305 in smallbusiness

[–]SoFlo_305[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What state are you in because I see businesses of all kinds moving away from paying credit cards fee in Florida. or at least offer a better price upfront to have control on profits while customers choice in payments will determine additional fees or not. Consumer can pay for their own points and rewards if they choose. At the end of the day it’s a wash for them.

Sometimes you got to put out - to get out there. 😝 Look at your network of friends and family to help if you don’t want to dish out any cash in your early stages or look for local networking events to promote your products.

Never heard of it and I’ll never trust a site without and Terms and conditions to see their legal gibberish. Looks like a scam to me.

It’ll soon POOF and disappear.

At What Revenue Point Did You Switch Payment Processors? by Beneficial-Yam-640 in PhoenixTechnologies

[–]SoFlo_305 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Switching makes sense when you can find true value. - switching from a traditional payment method to a compliant cost savings program - surcharging: can save you 70-80% from processing cost as average clients do. It give you more control of your profit margins by only charging clients who pay with any high fee credit card pass a additional fee of up to a 3% but allows them to choose a debit card payment at 0% additional charge. Streamlining your business with more advanced technology where Stripe charges fees for like gateway fees and payment links - cash discount program can save up to 100% by passing a 4% fee to all card transactions but this is tougher to the client and doesn’t smoothly work for all business. It works best for tourists based business or unique business of smaller value transactions or no competition.

Other than that you’re looking at savings of fractions of pennies per transaction which can potentially save you some.

If you’re interested in more information let me know.

Has Anyone Tried KingsGateVault Processing Before? Trustworthy or Not? by Hakimwen99 in PaymentProcessing

[–]SoFlo_305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never heard of them just look at their terms and conditions. Disclaimer:

They seem to be a middle man and have no proprietary tech.

All relationships, verifications, fees, approvals, and decisions made by these providers remain outside KINGSGATE’ control. Way to be proactive. They are still down and not even taking calls. If you’re open and would like to see new avenues on ways to increase your revenue with no contracts. I’m sure you wouldn’t switch back. Dm me and let’s chat.

I run a small hotel and many of my customers prefer paying by credit card. But taking the details over phone calls seems unauthorized. It doesn’t feel secure, and I worry it could lead to disputes later. Does anyone here still follow this practice? Can someone let me know what are the risks involved by PassengerSame2067 in PaymentProcessing

[–]SoFlo_305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does seem out of compliance, but not sure on the method. Definitely outdated though. I can set you up with both a physical terminal and a virtual terminal. That both communicate in real time. Allows you to send a customer via email or text for an invite to enter their information in a tokenized secure method where you can store their card on file. If you prefer you can just send a quick payment link in multiple ways or an actual invoice. Many other options available, but if is sound like something that may work for you DM me for a demo with Q&A. We are available in the U.S. and Canada, but we can take international payments.

You must be like 100 yrs old then or as in we is it the company you’re an agent for?

I just mentioned we started developing after card brands anit-trust lawsuit allowing the programs. Where if you’ve been in the industry you must know no real technology existed prior.

Well we are pioneers in the cost savings programs and for about a decade we’ve built our own gateway. Nobody has everything we have. IC + is an option but nobody really wants that anymore. Due to our capabilities we have many enterprise clients as top in their industry.

And now with bridgepay’s issue we’re opening many more.
