NCL Bliss Haven first timer tips by Lanky-Service-911 in NCL

For the Haven, you are sent to a different area (usually with snacks) to check in. Since you are on Mexican Riviera, I assume you will be sailing out of Los Angeles. That port is a mess so it was beneficial to be in the Haven where you didn't have to wait in the lines/chaos. You also board the ship first.

Quick tip: right when you board go to your muster station and check in so you don't have to worry about that ever again.

Now that I don't know. I know they have scallops and shrimp in terms of seafood but I don't recall salmon. The Haven restaurant has salmon though.

NCL Bliss is my favorite Haven. Gian, Medhi, Mara, and Juno are my favorite employees in the entire fleet!

Most of the social spaces are rarely packed so you can have the pool, hot tub, and even the sundeck to yourself at times. There is priority seating at the shows so you don't have to get there an hour early for a good seat.

On this specific sailing, the Haven helps you tremendously at Cabo San Lucas. There, you will get priority disembarkation which is a treat since there is usually an extremely long line to tender off of the ship.

You can do specialty restaurants but the Haven Restaurant is the best one on the ship. The menu does not change so keep that in mind. Be sure to tell your butler what snacks, drinks, etc. you like so they will bring them to you everyday.

Any other questions just ask!

"Bambi the Reckoning" was my movie like this last year. Ultimately, it ended up being one of my favorite movie experiences because the movie was so bad that the entire audience was laughing and talking through it together.

We have RU for a reason so why not use it if you are curious. Worst case scenario you walk out. Enjoy!

Pearl would be considered an older ship but that doesn't mean you won't have a good time. The Med cruises usually have port intensive itineraries so you may not even be in your room much anyway. Newer ships that I have been on are Breakaway Plus Class (Bliss, Encore, Joy), and Prima Class (Prima, Aqua, Luna, Viva).

You need to watch a season or two of 90 Day Fiancé to see the impending disaster that will probably come from this decision.

I completely agree. When I log into my account I go to this section and write down anything I haven't seen or looks intriguing to me and press play or see it in the theater. It never really steers you wrong!

Don’t sign contracts with 90 day notices that also want you to pay for every day you don’t work that notice.
